hand. >> reporter: it's actually nice out here gray this morning. we're seeing mainly cloudy conditions, obviously it's dry, and it's mild with rain heading this way. it should arrive late this morning into the first part of the afternoon. 53 degrees in philadelphia. warrington, 57. oxford, 53. new holland, 57 degrees. glassboro, 55. cinnaminson, 54. hammonton, 52. atlantic city, 58. sea isle city, 57 degrees. satellite and radar we have two pockets of moisture you can see the first one over the actual portions of pennsylvania and actually most of the appalachian states through the virginias and the second batch of moisture developing off the delmarva the bottom of the screen. we have an area of low pressure where all the yellows are transferring its energy to a coastal low. it's a situation you see during the winter months when we're

talking about snowstorms. these areas of low pressure will continue on their journey toward the northeast and bring rain this afternoon. we'll go hour by hour, by 11:00 a.m., we should see the steadier rains moving in southwest to northeast across the viewing area. places like lang, oxford and chester county they see the rain first and trenton and the shorepoints will see the rain last. highs around 63. 1:00 p.m., 63 degrees. 3:00 p.m., 58 degrees, 5:00 p.m., 57 degrees. if you have outdoor plans, the earlier they are the better chance you have them of actually taking place. we have more showers in the forecast tomorrow, it may last through monday, as well. the 80s move back in by wednesday. we'll talk about that when i see you in just a few minutes. gray?

thank you. now to the breaking news coming from north philadelphia. police say a teenager was killed in a triple shooting and the victim had just turned 18. shots were fired along the 3300 block of north 13th street late last night. police found two dozen shell casings. the teen who celebrated his 18th birthday was shot once in the back of the head. he dies at the scene. two other men were injured. no word on what led to the shooting. no arrests have been made. camden county, new jersey, police on the scene there of a deadly accident. this is video that just came into the newsroom. we know this crash happened around 4:00 a.m. on route 73 near william feather drive in voorhees. we're told the vehicle left the roadway and slammed into a tree. the driver died at the scene. the police and the prosecutor's office are investigating. pennsylvania state police believe drunk driving caused a

fatal crash in chester county. one person died and four others hurt in an accident involving five vehicles including a tractor-trailer. this happened around 9:30 on route 30 bypass in in cull him him -- calm township. we have information on the crash of the egypt air flight 804. crews from half a dozen countries continue to search for more evidence including the plane's black boxes. >> reporter: the search for more wreckage stretching through the night. investigators zeroing in on this area, 25 miles from the last known location of egypt air flight 804. airline officials say search teams found seats luggage and human remains floating in the mediterranean sea. no sign of the black boxes or

fuselage, but critical insight into the cause. the airbus had a data transportation system sent signals of smoke in the lavatory and avionic smoke. the message was sent over 3 minute period before the plane vanished from radar said a possible fire in the jet electronics controlling the aircraft. i'm going to come off the bomb theory and say this was a mechanical failure caused by fire. >> reporter: investigators are looking into the background of all six 6 people on board including the pilot, but found nothing suspicious so far. officials and the charles de gaulle airport are looking through surveillance footage to fieferght if there was -- to figure out if there was a

security lapse here. a 9th person died after a charter bus crash in south texas. the 83-year-old man died from injuries that happened in the crash. the bus was on its way to a casino. state and federal police are investigating. a uniform secret service officer shot an armed pennsylvania man outside the white house who refused to drop a weapon yesterday. jesse alvary from schuylkill county is in the hospital in critical condition. vice president joe biden was in the white house during the hour lockdown. a suspected car thief is in custody after getting into a standoff with police. chad perdelli has the details. >> reporter: the standoff ended peacefully with the suspect being walked to a police cruiser, but there were tense moments. 6:00 p.m., officers spot the

stolen suv at 16th and lippen cot. police stopped the car and the driver allegedly jumped out and shoved an officer and ran down 16th. as he did, the backup officer arrived and the male was pulling a firearm from his waistband. >> reporter: one officer fired three times missing the suspect who darted into an alley down the block. the suspect barricaded himself into an apartment and the resident fled. the police evacuated other residents in the building. they secured the property front and rear and called supervisor and barricaded situation was declared. >> reporter: the officer tricked the officers by saying he escaped the apartment building. after two hours, police entered the property. when we entered the property, he surrendered. the weapon was a replica firearm

of a glock, the same firearm we carry. >> reporter: police have to the released the same of the suspect. chad perdelli channel 6 "action news." family and friends will hold a final farewell for a south jersey teenager who was killed in a crash. 15-year-old mikayla mosley died a week ago after the bridgeton high school prom. daisia sulton who was also killed was driving in maurice township when she lost control of the car and crashed into a tree. happening today, a market devastated by fire will celebrate its reopening. columbus farmers market in columbus, burlington county was ravaged by an inferno back in 2014. the ribbon cutting will mark the return of stores and new food court. still to come on "action news" saturday morning. can nigh quest do it again?

9th street in logan section for reports of a mantua gun. when an officer -- man with a gun. when police approached the car, the man tried to run the officer down before taking off. there was a chase. a police helicopter was called in. the suspected wrecked his car and he tried to get away on foot before the officers caught him. there was a large police presence in west kensington after a small explosion. a man with mental illness history was carrying an explosive device when it exploded and severely injured his handle. the bomb squad investigated it, but police say nobody was in any danger. police in wilmington, delaware continue to search for the person who shot and killed a 15-year-old boy. police say they have the suspect's name now they need to
