have been shot. two are teenagers. a short time ago, we learned one of the teenagers has died. "action news" reporter jeff chirico live at crozer-chester medical center with the full story. jeff? >> walter, we are hearing a 14-year-old, a 16-year-old and a 32-year-old woman were hit in the shooting. and we just learned that 14-year-old has died. when we arrived at the scene it looked like a shoot-out unfolded in front of a store on pine lane. police place more than 30 evidence markers where bullet cases were found and a rear window of a car on the street appears to have been blown out. and a man says his wife heard the gunfire and shocked to hear how many shots why fired. >> that many? and two kids, too? that's bad.

>> police have not said how this shooting unfolded or who pulled the trigger, part of the ongoing investigation. one juvenile, a 14-year-old died. and a 16-year-old in critical condition and the 32-year-old woman in stable condition at crozer-chester. and they are pulling surveillance video from the corner store, hoping it will lead to the suspect. and if you know anything you are urged to call chester police. jeff chirico channel 6 news." >> thank you. the crews discovered what caused an underground fire near 30th street station. a manhole went flying. and they found smoke coming from underground. telling "action news" an abandoned wire laid by the pennsylvania railroad in 1932 caused the explosion. at one point 30th street station was briefly evacuated but trains

and bus are moving again. luckily nothing injured. a dreary day and the cloudy conditions sticking around for awhile. and melissa magee live at the big board with a first check of the accuweather forecast. >> we are still dealing with the moisture. it took awhile for the rain to move across the delaware and lehigh valleys. right now we are finding it is not heavy pockets across the area. and stormtracker 6 live 3d, a lot of the rain is concentrated in philadelphia right along the 95 corridor. going in a little tighter on street-level, you notice some of the happy precip starting to move south and east if you are along the jersey strike and route between berlin and glassboro. and we will allow for the wet weather to continue. in fact, the rain we have seen so far, wilmington, more than 1.25. 1.15. and a little more than a half inch of rain to the west in

and run critically injuring a 7 boy. the police say it happened before 4:00 yesterday afternoon in the parking lot of the branch village housing complex of the car pulled into the shopping center there, hit the victim and simply drove off. that driver on the loose tonight. the vehicle involved is a black or gray s.u.v. with tags including dlw. the police are receiving for a man who flashed a woman on the schuylkill trail. two incidents this morning, but one person arrested and the other suspect remains on the loose. "action news" has more. >> it concerns me because it upsets people as well. if my wife comes hope upset because somebody flashed her, that is up seating to me. >> folks on the schuylkill river trail are keeping their guard up after two reported cases of indecent exposure. the first around 7:30, a man on a bike saw a man lying in the middle of the trail exposing him

several engaging in an lewd act. and they found the suspect, smally, nearby. charged within decent exposure, open lewdness and harassment. and the action cam there as officers spoke to a woman on the trail near j.f.k. boulevard. around 7:45 a female runner saw a man with his pants down engaging in an lewd act. the police are still trying to track down that suspect. he is described as a hispanic male in late 30s or 40s, stocky build with a backpack as he fled up the stairs near j.f.k. boulevard. >> in the city you have to always be on your game and a little worried. >> i don't think he is going after anybody, having some fun, but it is disgusting. >> an initiative, the schuylkill river trail watch formed, and safety trainings for people to

keep it safe. and john says he side up for the next meeting and hopes this recent activity will be addressed. >> i will be shocked if they don't bring this up. other incident were brought up and this is the reason it was established. this area means a lot to me and i use it a fair amount. >> the police say both victims did exactly what they were supposed to in situations like this. they called 911 right away. if you have any information on these most recent incidents, you are asked to caught philadelphia police. the search for answers continues into what happened to the egyptair flight that crashed. debris pulled from the ocean, but nothing that can help them determine the cause. and the authorities are looking close at an alert going off in the plane before it crashed. and indications of smoke in the cabin before it went down. they are still looking for the black boxes that they expect will answer a lot of questions.

officials from the pentagon are trying to determine if an air strike targeting a taliban leader was successful. they were targeting a man named mullah mansur and they believe it was successful and that mansur is dead. and it was with the use of drones and special forces. and president obama authorized the strike. and donald trump expected to begin the vetting process next week to select his running mate. and he wants one with political and governmental experience. and names bandied about include governor chris christie. days after trump endorsed by the nba, hillary clinton addressed gun violence in florida. meeting with mothers who lost loved ones to guns. organized by the trayvon martin

it weighed 33 tons. the trunk carrying the tank only hit a top speed of 5 miles an hour and they temporarily moved light poles to make the journey as easy as possible. a horse abondoned, weak, half blind and shot with more than 100 paintballs will soon have a home with jon stewart. and the horse has been recovering and officials named her lily. regaining hundreds of pounds. and going to live on a farm owned by stewart and his wife. joining dozens of cows, pigs, sheep and other rescued animals at that farm. four people shot nearly a year ago and the gunman remains on the loose. one victim died hours after being shot. his mother is helping you can bring the investigation to the close. here is rick williams with tonight's crimefighters report.

♪ >> stacy marks describes her son as your normal every day 21 year old. >> he was such a good kid. he gave me no problems. kind of shy, stand-offish. >> on friday, july 3, he was with friends along 1900 brenner street in the tioga nicetown section. before 2:30 a.m. police called to the area for a person with a gun. marks says one of her son's friends called her with the news that he had been shot. >> i never screamed, i never hollered. i got up and went and told my husband and said that he got shot, he is at temple, we have to go there. >> after 3:00 a.m. he was pronounced dead. >> that was the worst day of my life. i said why would someone shoot my son? they had totally destroyed me. >> three other people were shot

are finding the heavier pockets of rainfall this hour. allow extra time if you are out and about on the roads and pack patience. the wet weather not letting up anytime soon. and you see the moisture across our region. later on tonight and during the overnight hours it slips north and east. still, a pocket of unsettled weather to our west. we have to deal with some of this as we go throughout the day on sunday. so the call from accuweather the next 12 hours, the rain tapers late, really after midnight, and after that left with some showers. otherwise it is mostly cloudy. 50 in the suburbs for the overnight low. dropping down to 53 in philadelphia. gets a little better getting into sunday. not the best day, and certainly not the brightest. and the sunshine if your heading to the ballpark the phills and braves. and first pitch temperature 6 and not as wet, but monday and

tuesday tracking the area of low pressure. cut-off upper-level lower, cut off meaning it is away from the jet stream, so it sits and spins across our region. as a result, allowing for limited sunshine and pop-up shower from time to time. the accuweather forecast showing cloudy tomorrow. spotty shower in the forecast. and high temperature of 68. and sunshine around monday, and 72. still a pop-up thunderstorm possible. a pop-up shower likely still on tuesday at 74. and then the pattern starts to change for the better if you like it warm. and thursday, even humidity in the air high to 86. string of 80's on friday. high temperature 84. could be the first time this month we hit 80 and even saturday for the start of the memorial day weekend looking like temperatures max out in the lower 80s. unsettled tomorrow, but light at the end of the tunnel.
