morning. we're seeing scattered showers, the heavier rains are gone, it will be just showers throughout the morning hours. 53 degrees right now in philadelphia. it's fairly mild for this time of day. trenton, 52. allentown, 53. same number for reading. 40s in the north, 53 in millville and cape may, 56. storm tracker 6 live double scan as we show you what's going on locally you can see just a couple of spotty showers nothing too heavy, just the lighter shades of green, what's going on to the west toward central pennsylvania north of harrisburg, south of williamsport starting to see darker shades of green and yellows popping up now. this is the upper level low spinning like a bowling ball getting closer to the delaware and the lehigh valleys. it is 200 miles to the northwest that will push east in the next several hours and bring showers to the area. it's an unsettled day, but

police evacuated those other residents. time 6:02 if you're just waking up with us, the chester police are searching for crews that could solve a triple shooting. a 14-year-old boy died in a barrage of bullets in front of a corner store. jeff chirico has the latest on the investigation. >> reporter: the victims include a 14-year-old and 16-year-old teen and 32-year-old woman. the 14-year-old has died. now, when we airveltd at -- arrd at the scene, it looked like a shootout took place on pine lane. the rear window of a car parked on the street appeared to have been blown out. police have not said how the shooting unfolded and who pulled the trigger or why. the man who lives in the neighborhood said his wife heard the gunfire at home and he was shocked to learn how many bullets were fired. that many?

and they hit two kids, too? , that's bad. >> reporter: one teen has died, the 16-year-old is in critical condition. the 32-year-old woman is in stable condition. police are pulling surveillance video from the store and hope it will lead them to the shooter. in upland jeff chirico channel 6 "action news." the senior commander of the afghanistan taliban said the group's leader was killed in a u.s. drone strike. the u.s. defense department said it believed he died in the airstrike. it is during an attack along the afghanistan border. he took over leadership of the taliban after the death of the movement's founder. now to the latest on the crash of the egypt air flight 804. leaked data is raising question whether mechanical failure and

not terrorism brought down the plane. the plane sent out seven warnings in all. one had to do with smoke in the lavatory and another indicated in the cockpit. the final mess annual warned trouble with the flight control systems. experts say new information raises the possibility that mechanical failure was to blame. could a fire overtake the crew in a matter of moments? the smoke could, the smoke is what brings airplanes down with a fire in the cockpit. >> reporter: officials caution it is still too early to tell what happened. meanwhile, crews continue to search the mediterranean for the plane's block boxes. >> reporter: welcome back everyone, 6:23 sunday morning, looking at satellite and radar. we have a couple of more bad days to get through, the sky cover is cloudy, there will be showers out there. a lot of sunshine building off to the northwest. the high plains and great lake states are basking in clear conditions. we're expecting a nice pattern change here, starting wednesday. here's philadelphia right here. what will happen with the upper level low which brought the miserable weather yesterday. it's currently sitting right there. that low will drift off the coast. all this sun out here will be as you as you sucked to the east. it will pull all the clear conditions east and hit the eastern seaboard wednesday. wait until you see the warmth that hits the mid atlantic and

in burlington county. investigators are not releasing details, but a driver struck and killed someone crossing the road after midnight. it is unclear if charges will be filed. drivers are urged to avoid the area as crews are repairing utility poles. we have a hit-and-run in camden, new jersey, the young victim is in children's hospital in philadelphia being treat ford a critical brain injury. the driver struck the 7-year-old in the parking lot. the police are searching for the driver. they are looking for a black or gray suv with pennsylvania tags that include the letters dlw. today a delaware community is coming together after the simplist killing of a 15-year-old boy. the prayer service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at nativity prep in

because somebody blasts her that's up setting to me. folks are keeping their guard up after two cases of indecent exposure. a man on a bike told police he saw a man lying on in the middle of the trail and exposing himself and engaging in a lewd act. police were called and the they found the suspect who was charged with indecent exposure and open lewdness and harassment. officers spoke to a woman on the trail near jfk boulevard. 7:45 a female runner saw a man with his pants down engaging in a lewd act. police are trying to track down that suspect. he is a hispanic male in his late 30s or early 40s and stocky build with a backpack. runners we spoke with say, it's alarming. single girl in the city you have

those are the areas picking up the steadier showers right now. 68 degrees is the forecasted high for today. it's another day below average. 53 is where we started out this morning, a few degrees below the average of 56. everybody is 53, 56 degrees except the poconos, 46 degrees. the surface low itself is now out to sea. it's hugging the coast of new england. this is the upper level feature that will swing through during the course of the day. most of the modeling takes the heavier precip with this and keeps it off to the southwest. it will bring spotty showers to the area later this afternoon. we have a trough or a dip in the jet stream hugging the mid atlantic or the northeast states. it's sitting here. to the west a ton of sunshine is building, we get high pressure dominating the pattern out here, that high will bump the lows out

to sea, but it's taking its sweet time doing it. gray and gloomy throughout the mid atlantic states today. a couple of showers possible. we get into monday, the high gets closer, but we're seeing clouds and a couple of showers are possible, actually monday afternoon maybe a thunderstorm is possible. then we get into tuesday, and it looks like the high is finally start to nudge its way in here, the lows are drifting farther out to sea. we're looking at a mainly cloudy daybreaks of sunshine from time to time, there's a chance of an isolated shower and tuesday is the beginning of the end for the miserable pattern. once the high takes over it will set up for for the remainder of the week and into memorial day weekend. future tracker 6, cloudy conditions throughout the day, peeks of sunshine expected. one or two areas could see an isolated shower, but not as miserable as yesterday. overnight tonight it's cloudy and damp, a brief shower during

pilots who served during world war ii can be laid to rest at argue ton national secretary once again. a laurie voakd owe a lawyer, revoked their right to be buried there, more than 1,000 women joined the air force service pilot programs, 38 of them lost their lives serving the country. four people were shot nearly one year ago and the gunman remains on the loose. one victim died. now his mother is hoping you can help to bring his killer to justice, here's rick williams with our crime fighters report. >> reporter: stacy marks describes her son fobs -- taquille fobbs as your normal everyday 21-year-old. he was a good kid, he gave

me no problems and kind of shy. >> reporter: on july 23 he was along runner street in philadelphia's tioga nicetown section. police were called to the area for a person in the gun. his mother was called and said taquille fobbs was shot. i said he is at temple we got to go there. >> reporter: after 3:00 a.m., he was pronounced dead. that was the worst day of my life. i said why would someone shoot my son? they had totally destroyed me. three other people were shot, but they survived. so far no one has been able to give a description to police. like his friend said, mom when somebody shooting you don't turn around to see who, you just all run. >> reporter: the city of philadelphia is offering up to

small to accommodate the large tanker trucks required to transport the beer to the brewery to the bottling plant. the solutions over here, a two mile long beer pipe underground, this is where it begins. for 160 years the family has been brewing beer within the walls of bruges, the problem started back in 2010 when the brewery moved the bottling facility out of the town creating a bottle neck of beer trucks. he said this is the best way to keep the family tradition going. i think we are the first ones to do this. >> reporter: engineers drilled through the town's canals and could believedeets producing four thousand ounces of beer an hour. we received from
