corner store. jeff chirico has it latest on the investigation. >> reporter: the victims include a 14-year-old and 16-year-old teen boys, as well as a 32-year-old woman. we are told the 14-year-old boy died. when we arrived at the scene it looked like a shootout unfolded on the corner store on the 1100 block of pine lane. police placed evidence marksers where 30 shell casing were found. police have not said who pulled the trigger or why. a man said his wife heard the gunfire at home and was shocked to learn how many bullets were actually fired. that many? , and two kids, too? that's bad. >> reporter: once again, we're told one teen has died, the 16-year-old is in critical condition, the 32-year-old woman is in stable condition. police are pulling surveillance video are from that store and hopes it will lead them to the

shooter. in up land, jeff chirico channel 6 "action news." the commander of the american forces in the mid east has confirmed the killing of the average taliban leader who died in a u.s. drone strike. u.s. and of afghani officials sd he was targeted near the afghanistan border. leaked data is raising questions whether mechanical failure and not terrorism brought down the plane. the data transmission system sent out seven warnings in all, one had to do with smoke in the lavatory and smoke below the cockpit where electronic equipment operates the aircraft. experts say the new information

her owners who owned barbaro who shattered his leg and had to be put down 8 months later. one firefighter from the nottingham fire company fell 30 feet when the roof collapses on tennis avenue. another firefighter suffered tightness in his chest. they were taken to the hospital for treatment. the person escaped with minor burns. donald trump is expected to vet running mates this week. chris christie is reported to be on the list of possible vps. trump campaigns in new mexico and california both primaries are on june 7 the same as new jersey. the next primary is tuesday in washington state. hillary clinton is taking her campaign to california later

mid 50s for everybody this morning, there's a bit of a breeze. makes it feel cooler. 48 in the poconos. millville, 53. cape may, showing 54. here's satellite and radar, there's the upper level low spinning moving just southeast of buffalo. now it's right over top of williamsport in harrisburg it continues to dive off to the southeast. as it gets closer and closer it will increase the clouds and it will bring rain or scattered showers to the western suburbs. you see the counter clockwise swirl. raining pretty good in harrisburg and state college. places like baltimore and washington, d.c. a miserable afternoon again. philadelphia, the immediate vowdged -- surrounding suburbs a cloud day with showers. beautiful stuff to the west, chicago, bright and sunny, temperatures in the 70s, high plains, great lakes all of this looks really, really gneiss.

it's having a difficult time moving east, because the lows are so stubborn. by monday we'll see the effects of the low a lot of clouds and spotty showers, the heaviest stays offshore, but still it will not be a nice day. tuesday the high bumps the low farther to the east. it's from wednesday on, the high takes over, we see more in the way of sunshine and warmer temperatures. future tracker 6 cloudy conditions throughout the day, a couple of spotty showers are possible. doesn't look like anything too terribly heavy is expected. modeling puts the heavier stuff west of the viewing area. we wouldn't rule out spotty showers. first thing tomorrow morning it's gray and gloomy, and patchy drizzle. tomorrow afternoon, cloudy conditions and peeks of sunshine, cloud showers are possible, maybe a thundershower, as well. cloudy today, spotty showers, 68 degrees, this is not like yesterday with the driving rain especially during the late evening hours. winds out of the north at 5 to 15 miles per hour. going hour by hour, cloudy

everyone, 7:22 sunday morning, you're sick and tired of the clouds and rain. the good news we have changes heading this way. it's going to take its time getting here. we have clear conditions to the west, look at chicago to the gulf coast states. it's clear as a whistle with high pressure dominating the pattern. here's philadelphia. what we've been seeing is the jet stream looking something like this, where all the sun and the warmth stays to the west. this is the cooler than average temperatures in the mid atlantic and the northeast and it has remained wet. upper level low is parked over the mid atlantic and the northeast. everything is going to shift and by the time we get into

these the rainfall totals for the months for philadelphia, 4.93. now, by the 22nd we should have only seen 2.1 inches of rain. we're 2 inches above average and a third of the month to go. atlantic city, 4 1/2 inches. allentown, 3 inches, trenton up 3 inches ever rain, of course, as we flip it over to the radars, we have more rain out there, especially across central portion pennsylvania. east of state college it's raining in harrisburg and williamsport. yesterday's rain was associated with the coastal storm that's well to the north up across new england. once we get the upper level feature through that's when the faucet turns off for good and we start to see sunshine. we'll take a zoom into the western suburbs west of philadelphia chadds ford and wilmington reporting light rain this morning. 202 from wilmington up to west chester you're seeing showers

pedestrian crash has a major road in burlington county new jersey closed at this hour. the prosecutor's office arrived on scene at route 130 southbound at east federal street in burlington. investigator are not releasing many details. but we know that a driver struck and killed someone crossing the road after midnight. the collision caused the vick to lose control and veer off the road. it is unclear if charges will be fired. drivers are urged to avoid the area as crews are repairing utility poles damaged in the crash. 7:32 we have an update for you on a hit-and-run crash in camden, new jersey. we've learned that the young victim is in the children's hospital being treated for a critical brain injury. a driver struck the 7-year-old in the branch village housing project also in camden. the car pulled into the parking lot and hit the victim and drove off. police are searching for the driver looking for a black or gray suv with pennsylvania tags that include the letters dlw.

today a delaware community is coming together after the killing of a 15-year-old boy. a prayer service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at nativity prep in wilmington to remember brandon wingo who was shot and killed walking home from howard high school of technology. no arrests have been made, but police know who they are looking for. there are clues about what brought egypt air flight 084. officials are focusing on signs that there was smoke in the cabin before the jet went down and that could shift the investigation. marcy gonzalez has the latest from paris. >> reporter: we're hearing the final transmission from the pilots of egypt 804. moments later warnings from the data transmission system seven in all, one noting lavatory smoke and one alerting avionic

smoke. one last message warning of trouble in the flight control systems before the plane vanishes from radar. experts say it raises the possibility that the cause could be mechanical failure rather than a bomb. could a fire actually overtake the crew in a matter of moments? the smoke could, the smoke is what brings airplanes down when there's a fire in the cockpit. >> reporter: french investigators say they are not jumping to conclusions. now waiting for the black boxes to be found, ships able to scan the floor of the mediterranean virginia are sailing into place to help as search teams recover remnants of the disaster. shreds of metal with the egypt air logo and uninflated life vest and personal belongings of passengers loaded on a ship for experts to analyze. there will be no definitive

willing to get the job done. >> reporter: the family's lawsuit claims after they paid kuhn $303,000 he walked off the job. the lawsuit claims kuhn overbilled them for services by subcontractors and caused damage to the property. within ten seconds the entire basement was filled up with mud and water. the troubleshooters went to john kuhn for answers. mr. slack changed the entire plan and didn't believe he had to pay for it. >> reporter: he paid you $300,000 what did you do for that? what i do? >> reporter: what work did you do? there was a lot of work done. kuhn said if anything, the family owes him money. how much money does he owe you and to for what. >> reporter: he owes me $100,000. for what. >> reporter: all the extras.

so glad you stayed with us on a sunday morning, 7:41, 53 degrees outside, sky6 live hd giving a look over center city. meteorologist chris sowers has been talking about the gloom and the gray, but he promises the sun is up in the sky. my husband is golfing today, he wants to know if it's okay to go out there. define okay. he is a dye hard. >> reporter: he'll be okay. we're not expecting a driving rain like yesterday evening, but we are expecting a few showers throughout the date. there's the view in cape may. it's another gloomy morning out there, drizzle taking place for the jersey shore. looks like the shore will be the one location in the viewing area that has the chance of staying dry most of the time today. even though you're seeing wet weather to the north, that will be it up through here, it will be this part of the viewing area that has the best chances of

seeing wet weather. the steady stuff is starting to show up north of wilmington. we'll zoom into with him you can see the darker shades of green northward into chadds ford and 202. a lot of this is drifting off to the south. it will dissipate very shortly. today is mainly a cloudy day and show showers throughout the afternoon. we had such a wonderful start to spring, march, april, very, very mild compared to seasonal averages. all of a sudden we got into may, 80-degree days, we have not found them. so far none in the month of may. in the seven-day forecast you can add those numbers, we'll double that or equal that. looks like the trend continues throughout the rest of the month of may. nicer weather is heading this way. 68 degrees is the forecasterred high. today above average, but it will feel better compared to yesterday's chilly high. 53 degrees is where we started

out. low 50s, north and west, mid 50s, south and east. gandys beach, 52, smyrna, 53. hockessin 52. sea isle and woodbine, 43 degrees. there's the coastal low spinning off the coast of new england. that brought the rains yesterday. now we have the upper level feature pushing in on the backside that will bring the shower threat for tomorrow. once the upper level low clears the coast. nothing going on, high pressure in control across the heartland of the nation, u.s./canadian border, southward through the gulf states. this will bring warmer temperatures. this will take time for the process to tames. surface maps today looks like, there's the area of low pressure off the coast throwing back moisture off the ocean. it's a cloudy day, spotty showers possible. monday the high gets closer, we're feeling the influence of that low off the coast, so it's another cloudy day, a couple of showers possible.

and then we get into tuesday, finally the lows are far enough out to sea to where the high starts to become the dominant feature. we are expecting a lot of cloud cover on tuesday, breaks of sunshine. we shut off the shower threat and we'll see the return of sunshine from wednesday on. it's really, really nice. you'll see that in the seven-day forecast in a moment. future tracker 6 cloudy conditions, spotty showers, i know you have a lot of out door activities today. it's hard to say who sees a shower and who doesn't. everybody is fair game, even though the modeling has it confined to the western suburbs, everybody runs a risk of seeing a shower or two throughout the overnight hours. overnight tonight, cloudy and damp. monday, starts out dry, partly sunny skies and showers develop during the late afternoon hours. forecast for today, cloudy and damp, a couple of spotty showers, highs in the upper 60s. philadelphia, 68. trenton, 69. allentown, 69.
