hospital in critical condition after a crash on the boulevard. the man lost control in the feltonville section at 1:30 a.m. no word on what may have caused the crash. family and friends of a pastor who was killed in a hit-and-run are calling on the driver to surrender. leon was hit on the 2900 block of north front street in kensington. he had just dropped off a group from his church and was getting back in the van. whatever you asked him today, he was there. we know police are looking for an orderly model assault anh front end damage. police are looking for a teenager accused of setting a fire at north penn high school. the 17-year-old student is charged with arson. the multi-alarm fire damaged a band room and theater classroom.

students were sent home early because of the fire. from our new jersey newsroom, the dies will continue to roll in atlantic city. new jersey governor, chris christie signed a package of bills that will keep the financially strapped city from running out of cash. atlantic city leaders have five months to balance the budget for the next five years. if they fail to do so, the state will be able to take over the city's finances. verizon workers have put away the picket signs and preparing to head back to work. their 7 week strike has come to an end after the company and union reached a tentative deal for four year contract. 40,000 verizon employees in nine states and washington, d.c. could be back on the job as early as next week. there's still more to you mean come on "action news" saturday morning, they are the iconic brands associated with sears. we'll tell you why changes are on the way for kenmore and

city expressway. the accident happened around 3:15 a.m. mile marker 38 on the westbound ac expressway in winslow township. the vehicle they were in ran off the road and struck several trees before overturning. they are being treated for injuries at cooper university hospital. 6:12 the time. a frightening sight in the midwest. children coming back from the zoo saw this funnel cloud move be into fargo, north dakota. they got off the bus and took shelter in the school. at school, a tornado touched down a few miles away, but it did not hurt anyone or cause dispeer damage. back -- severe damage. back here at home, you can plan your day with meteorologist chris sowers. >> reporter: it's going to be hot and humid out there, especially compared to the cooler temperatures we've been enjoying over the last several

weeks. all of a sudden we've had a snap in the pattern. we have the heat and humidity, today will be in the 90s, as well. that's a shot of the camden waterfront. we are going to have rain later on, so get out there today and enjoy it. >> reporter: dewpoint, 59. once we get into the 60s we'll we'll experience more humidity. you will feel that. everyone is in the upper 60s, 67 to 69 degrees range in temperatures. satellite and radar, keeping it clear over the mid atlantic and the northeast states this morning as high pressure holds on for one more day. we have a cold front cutting through the great lake states. they have this tropical storm bonnie in the next four or five hours off the coast of the

carolinas. as this moisture comes inland the approaching cold front will lift it to the north an unfortunately deposit it over the delaware valley as we get into sunday afternoon and sunday night and monday. here's the latest on the tropics. right now it doesn't have a name, it's tropical aggression number 2. alex formed in january. winds sustained at 35 miles per hour. roughly 265 miles per hour southeast of charleston, south carolina moving slowly to the northwest at 7 miles per hour. the next couple of days it's going to sit here and spin. the center of the low never makes it to the north in the delaware and lehigh valleys. the tropical rain will get lifted to the north. as a matter of fact i'll show you that right here. future tracker 6 keeps it dry, mostly sunny conditions, high, thin clouds during the afternoon. tonight is comfortable, as well, nice, clear conditions, but then we get into sunday morning, the clouds will increase a lot quirk than what we were thinking yesterday. tomorrow is basically a cloudy

these kids trying to get into parked cars. at that time a 61-year-old man is out walking his dog. he walks up on the gentleman and asks for the time. he looks at the his phone and he cold cocks him and he fell on his side. the video shows the assailant jumping on the man and taking his cell phone. police have isolated the video who they believe is responsible he is in shorts an light colored hoodie and backpack. they think he is a teenager who lives nearby. we're asking the neighbors to identify the kids and call 215-686-tips. >> reporter: this is the person who police believed assaulted the dog walker. he was with a larger group of
