people hitting the beaches and boardwalk it's a holiday tradition. sky6 live hd taking a live look at vietnam veteran's memorial at penns landing. the memorial wall bears the names of 644 philadelphians who died during the vietnam war. tomorrow two names will be added to the wall during a memorial service the first time it has happened in 13 years. for many, the holiday weekend is full of picnics and barbecues. control and the car landed on its roof as you see there. both the driver and passenger were taken toll hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 6 people were shot in two separate shootings in trenton overnight. the first one happened on martin luther king before 1:00 a.m. this morning. four people were hit by gunfire. a half-hour later police responded to the shooting of two people at a corner grocery store on the 200 spring street. all of the victims were taken to capitol health regional medical center. condolences are pouring for a bull rider who stained serious injuries in cow town woodstown. new jersey state police confirmed that the 19-year-old bare back rider was thrown from a bull and trampled last night. he was pronounced at the hospital. a father an son were hurt

after a large branch fell from a tree in neshaminy state park. the 30-foot tree came crashing down around 4:00 p.m. the father an son were rushed to the hospital in stable condition. those in the park described the frightening scene. we heard a big noisy, tree falling everybody running to the tree. when we got there three people were under the tree. one man was stuck under the treat. they had to cut the tree to get the man. people nearby pulled the young boy out. crews had to cut down the barges. runners hit -- branches. runners hit the street in philadelphia for a septa police officer who was injured in a hit-and-run. gary miller was hit last sunday while running in the city's holmesb uniformity -- homes

that's going to delay the arrival a little bit most of us today should stay dry. clouds will increase throughout the afternoon and the humidity will start to increase, as well. i'm noticing the change. i was last out here around 7:30 it was very refreshing. it felt great. now you can feel the air getting thicker and thicker as the humidity increases. chester, 74. center city, 73. highs today are expected to be four or five degrees cooler, but the humidity is higher, because of that it may feel like 90 degrees even though the highs top out in the mid to upper # 80s. smyrna and dover, 76. here's the tropical satellite this is tropical depression bonnie sitting around charleston, south carolina. you can see the counter clockwisele -- clockwise swirl.

goers prepare to celebrate the holiday weekend. the beaches and boardwalks are growing more crowded as the holiday progresses. jeff chirico checked in with the crowds this weekend. ette ♪ my kind of town chicago ♪ >> reporter: a frank sinatra tribute concert kicked off the fun. many packed the boardwalk to enjoy the familiar sights and sounds of summer. on the rides and having fun. my grandparents live down hear, so we come down a lot. >> reporter: what's your favorite thing to do at the boardwalk? little evan of southampton of pennsylvania convinced grandmom to enjoy a ride on the boardwalk. we love being together and being in ocean city, we love the rides.

and two others are missing. evacuations are in effect in a number of cities and towns because of the river rising there. a man is in critical condition after overnight shooting in philadelphia strawberry mansion section. this happened at 24th and diamond street. police say the victim was walking outside william dick elementary, when a man with a gun approached him and demanded money. when he told the gunman he did not have any cash he shot him. victim was taken to temple. they were searching for the suspect. police are searching for suspects in the severe case of animal cruelty. authorities were called to the 2800 block of west 6ing street in chester. when firefighters arrived they found two dogs on fire both animals died. so far police have no suspects in the case. this broken screen on the second floor of a germantown home marks with a set of twins

so glad you stayed with us we have new video of a young boy who fell into a gore -- gorilla enclosure in the cincinnati zoo. you can see the 4-year-old boy, the boy crawled through a

barrier and landed in the moat. the 17-year-old gore ril low which -- gorilla that wade over 400 pounds, was dragging and banging the boy around. the boy has been taken to the hospital and treated for nonthreatening injuries. take a look at the video of a hiker who fell 70 feet down a waterfall. scary to look at. 30-year-old josh was climbing when he slipped on a rock. he was able to stay above water on the fall and swim to the side of the river and took over 9 hours before first responders found him and pulled him to safety. that's when i started to get really scared. i thought, now it's time to survive this is getting real. real and frightening indeed. we know that he said surviving
