murder victim sometime sunday night into monday. he died of blunt force trauma and strangulation. it happened inside of his theodore home. police found him inside of his home after a welfare check after his son did not hear from him. he says he was first attacked last friday. >> he said that someone knocked him through the gate when he was going home. >> if they have suspects, or known robbers in the area, but right now we have no suspects. >> daly's keys and ford f-150 van is missing, it's dark blue. pd 5338 z is the tag. it's still missing and so too are the murder weapons. they have posted a reward for the information on the killers. >> we don't have a weapon, but

of ucla caused a massive response causing students and faculty to shelter in place in fear of their safety. two men are confirmed dead after the shooting inside of an engineering building on campus. they say a gun was found along way suicide note. for a long time it was not clear what was happening or if there was an active gunman on campus. >> i was walking by the engineering building and saw everyone running out and i thought it was a scavenger hundred but it wasn't. >> no motive for the murder-suicide or the relationship between the two men was. world news will have more on the shooting at ucla at 6:30 right after "action news" at 6:00. it felt like a summer day today with sunny skies and warm temperatures. over center city now you see a few clouds out there but still pretty nice. adam joseph is here with the first check of the accuweather forecast. >> the first day of june the temperatures are on the warm side feeling summer like.

doesn't believe he is capable of faking symptoms of dementia. they say he was mentally incompetent due to head trauma during his wrestling career. just released in the last hour is the 911 calls made by the mother of that toddler who fell into the gorilla enclosure at the cincinnati zoo. >> my son fell in with a gorilla, there is a male gorilla standing over him. >> be calm! be calm! he is dragging my son, i can't watch this. >> nine minutes passed from the call to when the child was deemed safe. they killed the male gorilla to protect the child. cincinnati police are investigating actions by the boy's family and they are not

health check tonight. a new jersey doctor says that a baby born to a mother with zika appears to have the disease. she came to the united states seeking treatment after the symptoms were detected. the hospital's director of fetal medicine says an ultrasound revealed miko receively, it's not certain if the little girl

has zika itself. the obama administration has released guidelines for salts from cereals to pizza and sandwich bread. the average american eats 1.5 tea spoons of salt daily. they have announced measures to cut down on the salt they lose. but the new guidelines are aimed to make businesses keep it consistent throughout the industry. >> if the consumer is in control, if they want to add more sodium they will be able to do it. but what the consumer can't do now is taking out of the product. >> companies will not be required to comply. if you play sports or do repetitive arm motion when you were working you have probably felt soreness in the shoulders

but chronic tightness could be something for dangerous, it can cause blood clots, a condition that compresses the nerves and artery and brain between your collar bone and rib. the good news is there is surgery to fix it. >> we do an operation above the collar bone or through the armpit and take the front two-thirds of the rib out so there is no longer compression on the vein. only a third of the patients can recover with physical therapy. mostly they require surgery. it was a special performance at the childrens hospital of philadelphia today. for young patients that can't get out to see a show. so the show came to them. the performers brought their lively act to the atrium here. a unique act of juggling and dancing. today was a sneak peek of sorts, a way to brighten a young

on wall street stocks drifted lower today after weak reports on autos and china. stocks spent much of the day in red after afternoon trading. the dow jones up almost 2.5. ford is recalling 1. 9 million more vehicles. the recall is part of an expapgs of what is already the largest recall in u.s. history. certain takata airbags can inflate with too much force throwing shrapnel into the vehicle. at least 11 deaths are related to that defect. a magic moment in tennessee

ended with one man dead and two possible suspects on the run. you'll hear from the victim's fiance. and a shooting near a hospital backed up traffic in our area. and families in south jersey will have all the tools they need to succeed with a click of the mouse. now the details, police officers responded to a 911 call for a shooting at a reading gas station and at first they could not find the victims. however, dozens of bullet casings littered the parking lot and officers stopped a speeding truck it took a turn. walter perez is live with more on what happened next. >> reporter: rick, as you mentioned that pickup went tearing out of this parking lot after someone opened fire on someone in the passenger seat and then reading police pulled over the truck and saw the victim badly wounded and helped

go forward. he allegedly hit dunbar and he later died of his injuries. radnor police arrested a philadelphia man for child pornography charges for filming his sexual encounters with a 17-year-old girl. anton hall and a young woman met online and entered into a convention you'll relationship that was not illegal, but hall filmed and took pictures and that part is against the law for a person under 18 years old. >> when the female victim found out this was filmed she immediately asked him to delete the videos and he failed to do so. >> hall is charged with 8 counts of abuse of a child. and a person remains in the hospital because of a crash on i-95 after rush hour this

morning. this is the scene in lower chichester, delaware county, investigator say the car hit the guardrail and caught on fire. one driver was taken to the hospital for treatment. from our delaware newsroom tonight, investigators say that a woman who was smoking started a fire in newcastle, the woman was in her bedroom and accidentally set clothes on fire. she suffered smoke inhalation and was taken to the hospital. the flames caused about $40,000 worth of damage. now to the 2016 race for the white house. we with are less than a week away from some big primaries. hundreds of delegates and millions of votes are at stake for both sides. new jersey, montana, north dakota and south dakota and new mexico and california get ready to go to the polls.

according to the latest quinnipiac poll, democrat, hillary clinton holds a slight lead and has 45% of the vote and he has 41%. and when it comes to likeable both are faltering with voters. both say they view clinton as strongly unfavorable. 51% say they view donald trump as extremely unfavorable. >> today mrs. clinton launched one of her biggest attacks against donald trump. she told this group at rutgers university that trump was a fraud trying to scam the american people. she stopped by a restaurant with jersey senator, cory booker. she told diners she wants to be a jersey girl next week. >> and bernie sanders continues to run full steam ahead in california. and is scheduled to hold four different events in the bay area.

police in chicago release stats on violent crime showing crime in the windy city. there was 318 shootings and 397 victims that is for the month of may and other cities are showing spikes in murders as well. including dallas and arlington texas. and in las vegas they see an 81% increase in murders compared to this time last year. police say the deadly violence is fueled by repeat offenders
