crews freed him. jeff chirico has the story. >> reporter: chris smiled as he was wheeld into a -- wheeled into a ambulance after being trapped in a grain silo yesterday afternoon. chopper 6 was over the farm in burlington county. this is the worst situation because you're working with an unstable substance. >> reporter: in the operation crews were lowered into the silo from the roof they couldn't pull the farmer from the grain because of the extreme pressure. he wanted out, there's to quick way for us to get him out, due to the grain around him. we had to encapsulate him to the waist and get the ground out and pull him out. >> reporter: neighbor bill tells "action news" a life long farmer was clearing a clog in the drain when he fell. if you're staying on top

trying to poke it through it could break loose, a farmer from nearby pushed the button and preventing him from sinking any further. he climbed out and called for help. he is probably more embarrassed than anything else. >> reporter: he was taken to capital health and released. he said he feels fine and wants to thank the first responders who helped him get out of what he called a debacle. jeff chirico channel 6 "action news." turning to the race for the white house, paul ryan is condemning a comment by donald trump. trump took aim at a judge overseeing a lawsuit after the defunct trump university. the judge who is mexican american has a conflict because trump wants to build a wall

between the u.s. and mexico. ryan said there's he does not agree with the thinking behind trump's suggestion. hillary clinton is hoping to lock up the nomination an tuesday, she told a crowd of supporters in yesterday if all goes well the next primary day she'll have the honor to be the democratic nominee for president. clinton is now just 70 delegates away from clinching the nomination. clinton has a double digit lead over trump in the latest national poll from reuters, her numbers have been on the rise among likely voters that's the last time trump held a slight edge. the poll has 46% to trump's 35%. 19% said they won't vote for either. bernie sanders used a rally

the train derailed in the columbia river george yesterday afternoon. 11 cars left the track. nobody was hurt, nearby schools and businesses had to be crack waited because of this -- evacuated because of this. 9 soldiers died when their vehicle was swept away during a flood in texas during a training exercise, yesterday the bodies of the last four soldiers were found. army officials say they were in the right place for their intended training, three are rescued and in the hospital in stable condition. a group of elite special forces soldiers found themselves in need of rescue after they ran into trouble during a training exercise on a colorado mountain peek. a helicopter was called in to rescue ten soldiers yesterday. they were called for in a climb exercise when some of the troops

with the warm, soupy air mass you'll get showers and thunderstorms. future tracker 6, 4:00 p.m., jersey shore looks clear, looks like a good day. inland locations, sun and clouds, inland locations a shower or thunderstorm. tomorrow morning, a series of frontal systems sweeps through. first comesment warm front that will trigger -- comes the warm front that will trigger shower an thunderstorms. mostly cloudy conditions in the afternoon with a stray shower or thunderstorm. the main event arrives in the evening hours with a cold front this will race through west to east, heavy showers and thunderstorms, the potential is there for damaging winds. it has put our area in the enhanced risk for weather. this is the time frame, 4 to 9:00 p.m. gusts up to 60, 65 miles per hour.
