multi-vehicle accident that has the highway shut down westbound on i-76. looking live from chopper 6 hd right now. that's right, all traffic stopped on westbound i-76 near the conshohocken curve. only one lane getting by eastbound due to the emergency vehicles there trying to reach the scene. the crash happened a little bit after 11:00 a.m. and involved at least 7 vehicles. it's unclear if any serious injuries at this time. several people were taken to the hospital and taken away on stretchers. you can see the backup there stretches for quite some distance, again, all westbound lanes shut down on i-76 the schuylkill expressway at the conshohocken curve. only one lane getting by eastbound right now and the backup extends, it appears from this angle. all the way into the city. for miles i would say. we'll keep an eye on it throughout the newscast an keep you updated at 6abc.com, as

well. there's also breaking news at this hour the murder of a truck driver in delaware county. investigators have issued an arrest warrant for rodney talbo. he is accused of killing him on a loading dock. a local teenager is recovering after he was shot during an attempted carjacking in the olney section of philadelphia. police are looking for two men who ambushed the victim early this morning. the 6600 block of oric street around 9:00 a.m. police got a call that a 17-year-old shot in the shoulder drove himself to st. christopher's hospital. here you can see the police surrounding the vehicle at the hospital emergency room entrance. they found three bullet holes that pierced the car. police interviewed the passengers saying two men tried to rob them. they tapped on the window with the gun and announced a robbery. the 17-year-old put the car in drive and took off. >> reporter: according to family members, the foursome were about to head out to get something to eat. police say they are lucky because nobody else was hurt balls the gunman was determined. the shooter chased the car and fired three shots. all three shots did strike the drivers side of the vehicle, one bullet went through the driver

own funeral a decade ago. officials say they have determined the cause of a fiery train derailment. now the details on the developing story, several vehicles have crashed on the schuylkill expressway causing major delays. the accident is in the westbound lanes of the schuylkill expressway near the conshohocken curve. this is video from a short time ago. it happened at 11:00 a.m. five vehicles were involved. westbound traffic is blocked for miles and eastbound impacted. at this point in time when the video was taken only one lane was getting by on the eastbound side of the road. we are told two people were injured and taken away to local hospitals. no word on what caused the crash. as we look back live from our camera traffic you can see at this point now, all lanes westbound remain closed at the conshohocken curve. they are getting the vehicles up on the flat bed trucks and tow trucks trying to get them off
