downpour as long the garden state parkway from oceansville to reed beach. and atlantic city you have the heaviest rain. on atlantic avenue you are getting poured on right now. this is pushing to the east quickly at 30 miles per hour. and that is the leading edge of cooler air that is moving in overnight. today temperatures made it into the 80s but you can see how we are cooling off dramatically, atlantic city airport a half hour ago was 88 degrees, it's now a rain cooled 67 and philadelphia 71 right now, we hit 83 today and allentown 73 degrees and temperatures will have a tough time tomorrow climbing out of the 60s. satellite 6 along with action radar showing this feature has two things with it. one cold front that is moving through and it hooks up to an upper level low, and that upper level low is moving through the day tomorrow and what that will do is bring us another round of storms and i want to show you

what is going on with some of these storms. jay lewis sent this to us, from pottstown today. these storms contained small hail, i would not be surprised if some storm his gusty winds and lightning and yes even small hail with cold air in the upper atmosphere. future tracker 6 showing as we head through tonight we clear things out by 11:00 and tomorrow morning the rush hour looks okay and then after 9:00 is when we'll see showers and thunderstorms developing across the northwest suburbs, this shows most of the activity across the lehigh valley and allentown and off the coast by 1:30. the middle of the day is when you need the umbrellas. the high is only 70 degrees, feeling cooler with the gusty winds and showers and thunderstorms in the middle of the day, on thursday we dry things out and still on the breezy side. 75 degrees and heading into the weekend it's looking nice on

identified but was rushed to the hospital but could not be saved. the murder trial of a man charged with killing a co-worker at a meat processing plant. peter ancome is accusedle killing him. they say the motive as revenge for a prank. they will not seek the death penalty. fire investigators are trying to pinpoint the cause of a fast moving blaze that damaged three homes in frankford. it happened on the 1600 block. the initial fire started in one row home and spread to the neighboring structures, luckily all the residents got out safely. a firefighter was injured while tackling a three alarmer at a family dollar store in fu

fullcroft. more than a dozen firefighters responded, it was so bad they could not find the location of the fire. it took three hours to get a handle on it. philadelphia police are looking for three men captured on this surveillance video stealing items from a point breeze construction site. it happened may 29th here in the 2200 block of east norris street. the suspects grabbed planks and tools and plumbing tools and a water heater. they estimate the haul was worth more than $18,000. a judge decided that former champion swimmer, brock turner would only spend 6 months in jail for a drunken assault during a frat party. he and his father are getting a lot of attention but for

different reasons. stephanie ramos is live with more. >> reporter: rick, well the sentence for stanford student brock turner is angering more and more people and his dad is adding insult to injury. >> brock turner found guilty of sexual assault, his father is now composing a bold and defensive letter in his defense. >> you talked about how this had serious implications for his son because he could not eat his favorite food. >> he wrote that the guilty verdict and many consequences is a steep price to pay for 20 minutes of action. >> he read that out loud in court 15 feet from the young woman. >> the judge sentenced the champion swimmer to 6 months in jail. the district attorney asked for a more severe 6 year prison

term. but he ruled that the prison term would have a severe impact on brock. and now there is a petition to remove him from the bench. >> he ignored a jury and in my mind ignored her. >> clicking on the letter she wrote. she read her emotional statement at sentencing directing it at the man that assaulted her. hours after the assault, i wanted to take off my body like a jacket and leave it at the hospital with everything else. >> brock turner withdrew from stanford university and must register as a sex offender for life. she feels she is speaking for every woman but is staying anonymous for now. more than a week after an endangered gorilla was killed at the cincinnati zoo, the world exhibit opened to the public today. there is a memorial for harambe
