good afternoon sara bloomquist is off. in the news a failed casino is getting ready to reopen in atlantic city. and police are still searching for the man that attacked a woman on the schuylkill river trail. but the big story on "action news" is the final good-bye to the great of the. boxing legend, muhammad ali. right now a hearse is carrying his body through the streets of his home town of louisville. and thousands are expected to attend his funeral including celebrities and dignitaries. >> reporter: good afternoon to you. stand ougt here all morning long we met so many people from all over the world. so many came out here without the tickets they need to get in the arena. but being out here and being able to pay their respects in ali's home town is all that matters. muhammad ali mapping out his own

wheel of the dodge challenger, allegedly fired two shots at another car sunday night following an argument over changing lanes. it happened on front street in lehigh avenue and kensington. the two people inside of the vehicle were not injured . from our delaware news, authorities are working to find out what happened to a man found in wilmington. his body was discovered at 6:00 this morning on lower beach street near an amtrak railroad line. police have not found obvious signs of foul play. word of another attack on the schuylkill trail has runners on edge. philadelphia police are looking for the man that slashed a woman in the face while using the trail yesterday. >> trish hall is live in center city with the latest. >> reporter: rick, police are still looking for the man that slashed the woman in the face,

it happened on this section of the trail as the two women made their way up the stairs here on walnut street. with the weather heating up people are hitting the schuylkill river trail in full force and doing so with caution. >> 3:00 in the afternoon, everyone is out doing stuff, there is no one around and i don't know it seems weird. >> there is always quite a few people around and you feel safe because of the numbers. but i feel like some of these are off their rocker it doesn't matter how many people are around right? >> a 20-year-old woman was attacked while walking on the trail with a friend. the pair noticed a man following them they started climbing the stairs leading to walnut street season the woman says the man kept following them and saying you don't know anything and stabbed her with an unknown object. the woman is listed in stable

new surveillance video shows the shaking that woke many people up overnight in southern california. a magnitude 5.2 earthquake struck at 1:00 p.m. pacific time just outside of los angeles and san diego. people in both cities reported feeling the quake. more than 900 homes are threatened by a wild fire in

central oregon. authorities say the blaze was sparked by lightning. and firefighters are getting help from mother nature, cooler and damp conditions allow them to gain some ground. the fire is 45% contained . investigators are checking to see if a piece of debris discovered on the beach is a piece from the missing malaysian airlines plane. he found it in southern australia. he discovered it while walking on the kangaroo island. officials are still searching for the underwater wreckage. two girls are safe this noon after the car they were sleeping in was stolen by a thief. the entire incident was captured on surveillance video in long island. the car got into the running car and drove off. he doesn't know two girls ages 6 and 17 years old were in the backseat. the mother went into the deli.
