satellite 'radar, high pressure keeping us high and dry as the saying goes up and down the mid atlantic and the northeast. nothing to talk about today. the forecast today, the call from accuweather, a pleasant and comfortable 85 degrees, the humidity is nice and low. the humidity increases as we get into father's day day and more so for monday and tuesday. it turns hotter with temperatures back in the 90s, combined the two could produce thunderstorms by tuesday. the weekend overall looks good, changes arrive for the purpose of the beginning of next week. i'll have the details in the exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast. >> look forward to it, chris. developing right now at 9:00, philadelphia police are looking for two gunmen who shot a man who was running from them during an attempted robbery in center city. the action cam was where the robbery started at 3:00 a.m. the wawa at broad and walnut. investigators say when the gunmen tried to rob the man outside the wawa, the man

started running, the suspects chased the man to the 200 block of juniper street and shot him in the leg. the suspects ran to the 200 block of south 15th where they tried to rob another man, they fired at this man and missed. >> this whole ordeal should be on cameras. there's good cameras from broad and walnut in center city. >> the man who was shot is in his mid 20s, he is at jefferson university hospital in stable condition. police in south jersey say they are searching for the hit-and-run driver who critically injured a bicyclist. the victim was hit after midnight on the black horse pike in haddon township, camden county. it happened in the southbound lanes. at this point police have not released the description of the vehicle. the bicyclist was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. 9:02. this morning a bucks county man

is behind bars amid disturbing allegations of sexual assault. authorities say lee kaplan father two children with a teenager girl after her parents gifted her to him. a dozen girls were removed from the home on thursday. >> reporter: this is 51-year-old lee kaplan charged with the sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl anticipate -- and related offenses. southampton police went to the home on old york road. they found him living in the tiny house with 12 females ranging from 6 months to 18 years. >> while interviewing the children we learned that an 18-year-old had a 3-year-old child and 6-month-old child with an adult male living in the house. kaplan admitted he sired a child now 3 years old when she was 14.

now sired a 6-month-old. the parents, daniel stoltzfus and his wife savilla stoltzfus gifted the child to him for helping the family out of financial ruin and kept him from losing the farm. they sent 9 of the other children to live with kaplan after they lost the farm, anyway. authorities say they have found no everyday that any of the other nine girls were sexually assaulted. according to kaplan, the former amish couple are in jail for related offenses be because they knew that kaplan was having sex with the girl and did nothing about it. each are being held on $1 million bail. in feasterville, i'm dann cuellar channel 6 "action news." >> we're learning that daniel and savilla stoltzfus gave lee kaplan their 14-year-old daughter after having a bitter fallout with the amish

this morning, police in chester county are returning to the scene of what's being called a suspicious death. police were called to the 900 block of heather stone in berywn yesterday morning. that's where they say they found the body of a woman. so far there's no word on how she died. and now to the latest on the orlando nightclub massacre. abc news has learned that investigators have obtained some graphic sure -- surveillance video from inside the nightclub showing the chilling moments during the rampage. >> reporter: abc news has learned the fbi has video of the devastating attack on the pulse nightclub. sources say in addition to this cell phone video recorded in a bathroom stall after the gunman opened fire. investigators are now pouring over high quality footage from the nightclub's extensive

this is a weekend where we have high pressure, the good guy firmly in control from start to finish. as we go wider you can see where the high is. it's the mississippi river area east through the mitt atlantic and the northeastern part of the united states. this area will stay quiet today and tomorrow. eventually monday night and tuesday all this activity here will start charging east as the high drifts off the eastern seaboard. we'll see showers and thunderstorms run to the forecast. that's tuesday. today looks good, a ton of sunshine arc pleasant afternoon, beautiful for the month. june. high temperatures in the mid 80s, sunday, father's day, same thing, the high slips off the coast a little bit. that will allow the winds to shift out of the southwest. it's a warmer day, but with all the sunshine should be nice out there. mostly sunny, we'll call it beautiful today, 85 degrees. the normal is 84. the wind are light out of the south/southwest at 5 to 10 miles

it is 9:19 a.m., apple may be giving their iphone screens a makeover. they received a patent for 360-degree screen that will be on all sides of the iphone that will allow viewers to watch videos on both sides of the screen and have photos run in a continuous loop. apple has not commented about the patent. it is not known if it will become a reality. summer is almost here that brings a warning for parents and teenagers, the summer months are the deadliest for keep drivers.

crashes increase 16% on average. a little more than 1,000 people die in crashes involving teen drivers. the biggest distraction, cell phone and friends talking to passengers accounted for 15% of accidents. using a cell phone made up 1%. aaa said parents should remind their teens about the dangers of distracted driving. for many families a credit score could be the source of a whole lot of stress. some are turning to credit repair companies, be careful, scammers can steal information and turn you into a crook. >> reporter: when trying to make a financial for the future it's the decisions from the past that can trip you up. lenders can see your decision in a credit report. according to the federal trade commission there are a few easy ways to spot a credit repair

scam. if the company asks for payment before they render services beware. if they suggest giving false information when applying for a mortgage or loan, do not allow them access to your sensitive information. another troubling trend the promise of an entirely new credit identity, which can land you in trouble with the law. you can spot these scams instantly when a service suggests you abandoned your social security number as a primary source of identification and instead use a new number that they assign they call it a cpn, short for credit privacy number or credit profile number. many of those numbers they assign you are stolen social security numbers often from children which is why they have a clean slate. this could unknowingly make you

gunmen tried to rob the man in front of the store, the man started running. the suspects chased him to juniper street where they shot him in the leg. the gunmen ran to south 15th street where they shot another man they tried to rob. the man who was shot in in stable condition at jeff university hospital. police are returning to bucks county a house to continue an investigation into a man who held a dozen girls there. they ranged in age from 6 months to 18 years old. police arrested this man here who was in the house, 51-year-old lee kaplan. investigators say he sexually assaulted one girl when she was 14 years old. kaplan ended up fathering two children with the girl. >> in interviewing the children we learned that the 18-year-old had a 3-year-old child and 6-month-old child with the adult

man living in the house. lee kaplan. >> kaplan said the girl's parents daniel savilla stoltzfus had gifted the girl to him because he helped them financially. the couple sent nine other children to live with kaplan. jeff chirico talked to kaplan's neighbors who were suspicious for years. >> i've been telling my husband, something isn't right. >> reporter: jen said she filed complaints before, but never had proof that something criminal was happening inside the small house she passed each day, the color of the shutters and the van in the driveway matched the feelings she saw on the faces of the children who lived here. >> i saw girls standing in the driveway, they looked unhappy and sad, in the blue dresses. >> they would be in their dresses, i thought it was odd, the way they were dressed we're not an amish neighborhood.

>> reporter: jen said neighbors complained to police 6 months ago when anen -- when an infant was brought into the home. she called the child abuse hot line. investigators rescued 12 girls thursday. >> who would give up their own child and for money? are you serious? >> reporter: as police investigate, neighbors say they are relieved that years of questioning are over and the children are safe. >> i've been crying all morning, i just feel like, finally, finally they will get to where they need to be, this abuse, alleged abuse stopped. >> reporter: jen said she was so intense trying to figure out whatever is going on inside the house on halloween she knocked on the door hoping someone would answer so she could peek inside, no one did, neighbors say a huge

that fire has tripled inside sending smoke toward los angeles. this morning extreme heat is fueling dangerous wildfires across four states. in california, the sherpa fires along the coast in santa barbara is threatening 6,000 acres and 300 struck at -- structures. the rural area is approving a challenge to firefighters on the ground. grew before the drought we didn't is he anything like this, now we go to the fire, seeing erratic fire behavior is the new norm. >> reporter: long lines of fire retardant crisscrossed deep canyons to keep the flames from rolling through. in arizona hundreds more firefighters are battling a

blaze that scorched nearly 15 square miles. in colorado multiple small grass fires were sparked by lightning. in new mexico teams working to contain the north fire burning for four weeks. conditions across the west this weekend are only getting hotter. at least three people were detained during a rally in houston texas, for presumptive republican nominee donald trump. dozens of protesters sit outside the hotel where trump was holding the private fundraiser. one of those detained a had a gun. he was later released, the man said he was a donald trump supporter and the incident was a misunderstanding. it is legal in texas to openly carry a firearm in a shoulder or hip holster. trump said he would be an aggressive advocate for gun rights if he become president.

president obama, his wife and two daughters are spending father's day at yosemite national park. it is giving him the opportunity to promote his record on open space and effort to combat climate change. more than 300 million people visited the national parks which is a new record. a couple in new mexico are defending their decision to make their teenager live in a tent as a form of punishment.
