investigating a fight between high schoolers escalated to a chase and a shooting. it ended last night at 9:00 at the corner of torresdale and cotman avenues in the city's may fair section. katherine scott is live at northeast detectives tonight with all the details. >> reporter: rick, there are a lot of moving parts to this, detectives continue to gather evidence but essentially this start wade fight and robbery at a high school football field and spiralled from there. >> a robbery, a chase, a crash. this scene on torresdale near cotman was the end of a series of event that spanned several hours in may fair. it started at 7:00 p.m. when a 16-year-old girl was beaten up and robbed at the high school. >> it got out of hand and things of hers got taken. her father went to confront the teens at the high school and retrieve his daughter's belongings, that is when police

stranger started to shoot at them. moore was hit and rushed to the hospital for treatment but did not survive. the search for the gunman continues. we are learning new information about the man that killed rising singer and burlington county native, christina grimmie. he aparentsly developed a fixation for grimmie last year and he told friends he spent most of the his time watching the singer on youtube and reportedly lost weight and got eye surgery and had hair implants in an attempt to impress her. he shot grimmie after one of her concerts in oeshld and took his own life. this is 36-year-old harold burton of philadelphia, a suspected drug dealer now charged with causing the death of one of his clients. authorities say that he told renee winslow he was bringing her back heroin on the 29th of
