finally tonight, a 15-year-old boy living in poverty met a generous man at a grocery store and that became the first moment avenue beginning. here is abc's david wright. >> the chance meeting at a grocery store that ended up changing lives. it all charted when chauncey black offered to carry matt white's grocery bags to a car in exchange for a bag of doughnuts. >> you could tell that he didn't have anything and he was asking to work to get some food, you know. and it just broke my heart. >> when is the last time you had something, like you got clothes. >> two, three years. >> three years? >> chauncey, a straight-a student lives with his mom who is too sick to work, so chauncey does everything he can. cutting grass, washing cars, working hard to keep food on the table. >> you don't have furniture in your house. >> i have one couch. >> you have one couch?
