12:22 pm
for people with afib currently well managed on warfarin, there is limited information on how xarelto® and warfarin compare in reducing the risk of stroke. you know, taking warfarin, i had to deal with that blood testing routine. i couldn't have a healthy salad whenever i wanted. i found another way. yeah, treatment with xarelto®. hey, safety first. like all blood thinners, don't stop taking xarelto® without talking to your doctor, as this may increase your risk of a blood clot or stroke. while taking, you may bruise more easily and it may take longer for bleeding to stop. xarelto® may increase your risk of bleeding if you take certain medicines. xarelto® can cause serious and in rare cases, fatal bleeding. get help right away for unexpected bleeding, unusual bruising, or tingling. if you have had spinal anesthesia while on xarelto®, watch for back pain or any nerve or muscle related signs or symptoms. do not take xarelto® if you have an artificial heart valve or abnormal bleeding. tell your doctor before all planned medical or dental procedures. before starting xarelto®, tell your doctor about any kidney, liver, or bleeding problems. xarelto® is the number one prescribed blood thinner in its class. well that calls for a round of kevin nealons. make mine an arnold palmer. same here.

12:27 pm
it will feel tropical. watch what happens at 6:00 in the morning and 12:00. with the warm front coming through we'll see some pop-up showers and maybe even a thunderstorm. and then into the afternoon and this gets to be a bit pronounced at some points. it's not going to be a washout tomorrow but again there will be showers and perhaps some gusty thunderstorms popping up late in the day. and again in the humid atmosphere it could produce an isolated downpour. the line you see forming is ahead of a cold front coming through than is likely in the evening hours with potentially strong thunderstorms in the neighborhoods and even if you don't get damaging winds you have the potential for damaging hail and driving rain out of this. and after midnight we expect it to be mostly over. lightning say possibility for storms tomorrow and downpours from showers and strong winds, a moderate chance of that. not so big on the large hail but small hail is possible. today beautiful and 87 degrees
12:28 pm
and lots of sun and not all that humid and tomorrow the possibility of at times a pop-up shower or thunderstorm, and some drenching downpours with that humidity really climbing a high of 86. the good news is it gets out of here for your weekend. saturday the humidity drops again and 84. and make your plans for sunday beautiful and 86. the 4th of july clouds and sun, and there is one long range model that shows showers before the end of the day into the evening. that wouldn't be great for fireworks a couple others hold it off to the west. that would be better. we'll see which way it plays out. i would keep my eye on monday. >> quick break and another check of more news when we come right back. alzheimer's means...
