sean whittaker was caught up in a hail storm on his way home in mount holly this evening. and he was just one of several "action news" viewers who recorded a pounding assault from the sky. jackie smith took this video of her backyard pool get something ice cubes, in lumberton. and you can hear the hail stones off the grill and back deck here in hainesport, burlington county. there was flash flooding that followed the downpours. as captured by tyler brawn in vineland, new jersey. vineland seemed to be the epicenter for all of this water. flood waters rose so much that they came up chest high on this man in the parking lot on landis avenue in delsea drive. other people made waves as they drove up to the front door of this sears, which was closed with water seeping into the building. and this partially submerged ups truck wasn't going to make its deliver wrist on time

tonight. several other vehicles stalled out on landis avenue before waters began to recede. we have "action news" reporter jeff chirico at penns landing and trish hartman at the shore. but first lets get the very latest information from accu weather and meteorologist adam joseph at the big game. >> yeah, jim, very spotty with severe storms but where they hit they hit hard. east hampton township burlington county half dollar sized hail. vineland 5.5 inches on have rain in a couple of hours. exiter town ship in berks county as well as bridgeport in lancaster county trees down with powerful wind. cumberland wind gusts near 46 miles an hour in addition to 3 inches of rain. storm tracker six showing how much rain fell, especially, in southern new jersey, and near buena as well as millville, mays landing and egg harbor. near buena, vineland between four and 5 inches of rain, in that area where thunderstorms trained. but at this point, most of the wet weather is now off of the coast, and the severe weather is over with but we are tracking a cold front to the

north and west. you can see more thunderstorms firing up, approaching, berks county, the lehigh valley, we will track those for you but that front will wipe humidity a way and bring back that sunshine, in full force, here, for the majority of the weekend. so as we ranked the holiday here saturday number one with full sunshine, low humidity, warm temperatures. high cloud on sunday but a close second. monday, ranking third because of clouds quickly increasing. watching a storm to the south that could bring some rain for some of us by the end of the day on monday. we will talk more about the poconos and shore and city forecast, coming up in just a little bit, jim. >> thanks, adam. meteorologist adam joseph. very important for the next few days. >> two out of three absolutely perfect. number three on monday a little rocky by the afternoon. we will look at storm tracker six live double scan severe weather in spots this afternoon. mostly has subsided a at this point. we are not looking at new renewed threats of severe weather overnight but we are waiting a cold front that is starting to push in the northwestern suburbs, sparking a downpour. parts of the lehigh valley, western berks county, north of reading and beyond that a couple developing. so even throughout the overnight early morning hours we may get woken up by thunder as a quick passing storm or downpour passes through but that cold front is going to wipe the humidity, away this weekend. seventy-four in allentown. seventy-four wilmington. lower 70's at the shore. still very muggy out there but that is about to change with that front passing through. all of the severe weather warnings, watch boxes have expired as you can see from the mid-atlantic up to the
