details. >> reporter: we're looking closely across the region, we have rain to the south and interesting cloud cover this morning. the farther south you go, the cloudier it is. these are fairly thin clouds that the sun will break through. there's a line of demarkation north an south. there's rain if you go in closer on storm tracker 6 live there's showers from dover south into the southern half of delaware, some of these are clipping extreme southern cape may counties and these areas down to the south may be in and out of showers at times. 68 degrees in philadelphia. 58 in allentown. 62 in millville. 64 in wilmington. 82 in trenton. 68 in cape may. the dewpoints are behaving themselves real low far below

suburban station say they couldn't tell a third of the fleet had been taken out of service, they fear returning to work on tuesday, could be a different story. >> a third of the fleet, these going to be chaos and pandemonium. that's what i expect. >> it will be harder to find a seat. >> reporter: septa recalled 120 silver liners because of a construction defect discovered friday. there's a problem under the car which needs to be manufactured before the vehicles return to the rail. passengers in and out of the city for 4th of july festivities won't be affected. the car shortage will continue into the would come week and possibly all summer. >> it's convenient it's a quick ten minute train ride, but 120 trains out, it will be harder.

early on, the cars assembled by the plant in south philadelphia were plagued by quality control and design problem. 6 years after the cars hit the rail there's another glitch which has commuters planning ahead. matthew mitchell the association of rail passengers tells me the problem has to do with the truck underneath the car that holds the wheels and motors in place. it could take all summer for the problem to be resolved. septa will hold a news conference at 2:00 p.m. "action news" will be at the septa news conference, you can watch it live at 6abc.com, we'll we'll have an update on "action news" at 6:00 p.m. this is for drivers, the inner lanes of the benjamin franklin parkway are shut down

undertow all weekend, so they want swimmers to stay close to shore. trish hartman channel 6 "action news." >> 6:07. if you're just waking up with us, a shore getaway turn tragic for a father and 8-year-old son visiting from maryland. they died in patcong creek in somers point. they were on a jet ski that collided with another jet ski rounded the curve. they were pronounced at the hospital. the 55-year-old woman had an injured wrist. officers found a 24-year-old victim wounded in the 3500 block of north marshall street in hunting park. officers put him in their cruiser and rushed him to temple university hospital. he died at 11:00 p.m., a half-hour after being shot. investigators are looking for the shooter and trying to figure out the motive. a serial bank thief has

struck again. the so-called straw hat bandit robbed a pnc bank in north wales. the investigators say the suspect showed a gun and ordered the customers to get on the ground before taking money. police suspect it's the same person who robbed ten other banks over the past four years. in each case, the thief is wearing a tan hat and makeshift mask. fbi is looking into hillary clinton e-mails. they have interviewed the presumptive democratic presidential candidate. the fbi is investigating whether the former secretary of state or any of her top aids exposed government secrets because of her decision to use a private e-mail service. analysts believe that they will announce the finding before the convention. fbi investigation could lead to our indictment or clear her of

78. 3:00 p.m., 82 that's the high. away from the southern areas it's going fob a mix of sun and high clouds at times. 82 in allentown. 82 in trenton. 80 in philadelphia. 78 in millville. mid 70s down the shore between cape may and atlantic city. closer look at the shore, sun and clouds, the farther south you go, the better chance you have of the showers especially down in cape may. these areas, ocean city up to surf city probably staying on the dry side. it is the farther south you go into cape may and down into the delmarva you have the chance of showers, unfortunately. for the phillies they play day baseball, look for sun and high clouds, 80 for the first pitch, in the 9th inning, 81 and the 82 in the later innings. there will be clouds gathering as the morning goes on. looks like we're mainly dry in the morning, once we get into

out of iraq, isis has taken credit for two car bombings in baghdad today. at least 83 people were killed, 150 more wounded. 78 of the victims were killed in one of the bombings in the center of the capitol city. the bombings hit family and young people out on the street after breaking their ramadan fast. the attacks come after iraqi forces took the city in flawm i-
