weather out there. the sunshine is back after the rain yesterday but the warm front that brought the rain is bringing us a change in our air mass. a heat advisory is posted along the i-95 corridor tomorrow. the reason why the heat index. the combination of heat and humidity is looking like this late tomorrow afternoon generally the mid to upper 90s along the i-95 corridor, this is the kind of heat and humidity we have not experienced since last summer. you will want to take it easy even now the dew points close to 70 degrees in philadelphia. 68 degrees and you get dew points above 70 and that is oppressive that is where it is in cape may, dover 73 and the heat and the humidity will be increasing over the next three days. the heat index make its feel like 92 degrees in philadelphia. the same in millville and wilmington and cape may, feels like 95 degrees in dover.

satellite 6 along with action radar showing that warm front that brought more than 2 inches of rain for parts of cape may county, that now cleared the area and showers across northern virginia and sinking down to the south and tonight is rain free but warm and it will be very humid and with the humidity, and the wet ground in some areas, patchy fog will develop and overnight low 66 in the cooler suburbs dropping down to 66 in center city. we are not alone in the heat and humidity. the jet stream is well to the north that mean most of the nation is sweltering and this air mass is moving our way tomorrow and especially thursday and friday, that is really going to be the peak of the heat wave. it looks like it will continue into saturday though. so far this year our hot of the day is 92 degrees, it's going to be hotter than that over the next three days, tomorrow a forecast high of 94 and heat index 98, thursday and friday
