becoming a victim of a drive-by shooting. and camden gets a shot in the arm to help smooth the ride for commuters. but we begin with breaking news from montgomery county, where median, bill cosby is on his way to entering the courthouse in montgomery county right now with his attorneys. he is due in court to hopefully renew his bid, to force his accuser, andrea constand to testify. we are looking live outside of the montgomery county courthouse, we are told that cosby and his attorneys are about to enter any moment now. >> cosby's attorneys are insisting that a trial should not be held until constand testifies. they want a chance to cross examine her. they want to get her on the stand to ask her questions. prosecutors say that a recent court ruling, allowed her to use

hourly forecast and much more. breaking news out of burlington county, new jersey, police are investigating a murder of a woman in lumberton, the victim is 39-year-old shannon o'rourke she was founded inside of her home yesterday. they are back at the scene today at nassau road. police have not said how she was killed but that no arrests have been made. police are searching for a gunman on a bicycle that shot a man and an innocent teenager. the double shooting happened at the juniata park section of philadelphia. a girl suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and is in stable condition. the man they believe was the intended target of the shooting. annie mccormick will have more coming up at 12:30. police in philadelphia have charged a toonger for aggravated assault for shooting a teenage

girl in the chest. the teenager was playing with a gun and it went off inside a home, on the 5600 block of lloyd street, the 14-year-old victim was in stable condition at saint christopher's hospital. a traffic stop in minnesota ended with a black man shot to death by a white police officer. what happened afterwards was streamed live online. his girlfriend said that her boyfriend was shot for no apparent reason. the man's death has sparked outrage and protest across the country. >> reporter: good afternoon to you. that video from minnesota has been taken down on facebook but not before it was viewed more than a million times sparking more out rain of police use of force. this video from a live stream on facebook showing a traffic stop in minnesota turned deadly. we are waiting -- >> i will sir -- >> did not capture the beginning of the ibs dents but clearly

shows 32-year-old castille shot and bloodied. and she said he had a license to carry. >> castille later died at the hospital, causing protests overnight. >> pop pop pop don't move. how can you not move when you are asking for license and registration. >> the justice department launching an investigation after this police shooting in baton rouge, louisiana, in this case police responding to a call about a man brandishing a gun shooting and killing alton sterling. friends and family are calling for justice. >> i will not allow him to be swept in the dirt. >> the two officers involved in the louisiana shooting told

investigators they opened fire fearing for their lives. they right now in minnesota assessing the situation. channel 6 "action news." >> as we mentioned at the top of the newscast, comedian bill cosby is due in court this afternoon. his lawyers are ask the judge to throw out the case or force the accuser to testify. katherine scott joins us live now outside of the courthouse in norristown with the details. >> reporter: rick and sara, bill cosby's legal team arrived here at noon and we are waiting for cosby to arrive. all the cameras are positioned at the courthouse steps, waiting for him to walk through security and up into the courtroom. cosby's legal team is hope that the charges will be thrown out. preparations are underway this morning in montgomery county

courthouse in norristown, 78-year-old bill cosby will be back for another hearing in his attorney's latest bid to get a sexual assault case thrown out. they have argued that bill cosby's due process rights were violated. cosby is accused of drugging and molesting former temple employee andrea constand in 2004. he says the pills were benadryl and says that concern rules allow them to use her police statement and not require her to be present for the hearing. the defense argues that cosby has a right to face his accuser. in the preliminary hearing in may, they called constand's absence risky but there was enough evidence to go to trial. today the judge will decide whether to dismiss the charges

against cosby or send it back for a new prerimly hearing where constand is forced to testify and answer questions from the defense. back here live at montgomery county courthouse where cosby's legal team is in side and we are awaiting cosby himself. now, it all depends on what happens today no trial date is set, but it is possible that if the judge rules against the defense he could set a trial date. katherine scott, channel 6 "action news." >> thank you. we'll continue to monitor what is go on there at at montgomery county courthouse. it's day three of septa's modified schedule. the action cam was in east falls this morning. not many problems here but commuters in other stations say their trip is as bad as other days. train stations are filled with people waiting to board.

septa took 120 rail cars out of service because of a defect. reservations are now advised if you use the cape may lewes ferry, because it is running under a modify scheduled. three departures on each side were canceled. a south philadelphia intersection remaining closed to traffic this noon after a water main break sends water into the street. chopper 6 hd was above the main this morning. the philadelphia water department says the 6 inch water main broke beneath the manhole cover. crews help to have the work finished by this evening. still to come on "action news" at noon, fbi director, james comey, is facing scrutiny and anger on capitol hill. on the heel of his recommendation that hillary clinton not be charged with a

accuweather forecast. >> i like your shorts. >> thank you rick. >> probably should be though. stormtracker 6 live double scan we have dry conditions across the region. a chance of a pop-up shower or thunderstorm later on. it looks like in most of the area, we aren't seeing that right now. as we take a look outside we have sky 6 hd and there is the jersey shore and that is the main area to get relief today. we'll hold in the 80s down the shore, it's muggy but the ocean is right there and a sea breeze kicking in and definite relief down at the beach. philadelphia 90 degrees now and the dew point back up over 70 this is oppressive humidity as you head outside a 15 miles per hour breeze and hot air blowing you in the face and not helping out much at all. temperatures across the region wilmington up to 90 and almost there in millville and dover and over 90 in trenton and 87 in allentown un82 in cape may, the shore is the place to be. future tracker 6 shows you while

not a big chance of showers and thunderstorms, there is a little chance and the model wants to put them down to the south, it could be if are you on the beach you hear a rumble of thunder and most of area probably stays dry and just soupy. a little chance of this later on at 6:00 and after that most of the stuff is gone. up in the lehigh valley no relief there, hot and humid and 94 and spotty thunderstorm cannot be ruled out but most of you are in for a dry, muggy afternoon and heat indexes well into the 90s and the shore high of 86 and ocean temperature is 70 and good combination there. on the humid side but not as bad as inland. in philadelphia how about a high of 95 degrees and the heat index of at least 100 and maybe higher than that. a spotty thunderstorm cannot be ruled you but it doesn't look like a big chance of that, if it does hit you'll get a drenching downpour in this dry saturated air as we look at the afternoon

commute, 92 by 5:00 and 95 by 6:00, i'm allowing for a pop-up scattered thunderstorm here and it looks like it would be totally stormy and it's not. but a chance. and overnight tonight, we get an evening thunderstorm out of the way in one or two corners of the neighborhood and otherwise warm and sticky, the overnight low 78 degrees, like last night only going down to the vicinity of 80 for a low. and future tracker 6 handling the heat index, we'll be higher than this in places. wilmington pushing toward 100 as is philadelphia and dover up to 102, and then tomorrow afternoon more of the same, the model putting sun indexes up close to 100 and i think tomorrow afternoon will be looking at the heat indexes up at 100. heat tips, lots of water and some of you say it's obvious. seek out the a.c. and breaks in

the shade if you are working outside. and check on seniors and pets. heat excaution and illnesses, and know what to look for. pale skin and nausea and dizziness. move that person to the a.c. heat streak is when they are not sweating and you touch their skin and it's hot. today 95 feeling like 100 or worse. and tomorrow still sticky and heat index around 100 again and there is a chance of strong thunderstorms coming through with a frontal boundary, it's still hot but the humidity has a tendency to go down and a high of 92 and not oppressively hot and humid and a spotty thunderstorm cannot be ruled out. breezy and nicer and back into the mid-80s. staying nice on monday, tuesday and wednesday and a nice stretch
