style drills, in his yard, and trained in a private school in a dallas suburb about two years ago that teaches special tactics including shooting on the move. johnson was a private first class in the army. he was a specialty in carpetry and masonry. he to one tour in afghanistan from november 2013 to july 2014. here in philadelphia, the recent police involved shootings across the u.s. has prompted protesters to be vocal with their criticism of local police. but there were also demonstrators who voiced their support for the local law enforcement officers. week's deadly shooting. it is beginning at 10:30 right after "action news" at 9:00 o'clock. developing news this morning a brother and sister have become victims of the gun violence. the brother has died and his sister is in critical condition. the action cam was on the scene on the 600 block of concord street in chester delaware county. police say shots rang out at 11:00. they were struck several times. the brother was pronounced dead on the scene. his sister who took off running after being shot was critically injured. we do in the know the ages of the siblings and so far police november suspects or motives for the shooting. your time 6:08. today, septa is expect to release a new interim regional rail schedule on its web site. it has lease sod tram cars from other transportation agencies in the northeastern u.s. to help with crowded trains and those delays. a week ago septa took one to trace out of service to repair a defect and these cars could be up and running by tomorrow.

a wild fire in boulder, county colorado that forced hundreds of evacuations as flames and smoke made their way through the woods yesterday afternoon. the residents packed up what they could fit and fled to the high school. they hoped the wind would change direction and spare their homes. so far almost 300 acres have been score much. at least two structures have been destroyed.

eighty-five by five. guys? >> chris, thank you. well, a city and nation cope with the unspeakable loss of five police officers, the investigation into the snipper who killed them is ongoing. >> this morning we will turn to reporter scott mclean live from dallas, texas. what is the mood there in dallas and how has that community been reacting to this. >> reporter: nydia, gray, good morning. if you were here yesterday there were a lot of people who showed up to pay their respects and you have to stand here for ten minutes to get a sense of that emotion and that sadness of the people who are coming. i'll step out of the frame quickly and show what you we're looking at. it is tough to tell but these are two police cars that have been absolutely covered with balloons, flowers, cards. one of these cars is a dallas police vehicle, other is dallas transit vehicle. four of the victims was dallas police, one was a transit officer. i spoke to one person yesterday whose father was a fire fighter kill in the line

of duty. he has a very personal connection, when instances like this happen. i spoke to people who came from out of town had no connection at all, they just wanted to come and pay their respects. now police, they are obviously appreciative but they are on high alert. yesterday was a good example of. that there were reports of the suspicious person, inside the dallas police parking garage. police searched that. they searched their own buildings, as well, floor by floor, and they also went back a second time with a k-9 unit just for good measure. thankfully though they didn't find any person. they didn't find anything suspicious. so it looks like at this point that the was a hoax, nydia and gray. >> now, scott there have been some developments in the investigation in the micah johnson. what do we know right now. >> reporter: yes, we know micah johnson is a 25 year-old ex-army reserve, we also learned yesterday that he actually had a sexual harassment complaint and a

restraining order against him but even still he was honorably discharge. those complaints stemmed from his time in afghanistan where he was serving as a carpenter or masonry specialist. late thely his most recent employer was a company, state funded company, where he worked as a care giver for people with special needs. they actually did a background check on him and they said it didn't turn anything up. but, johnson's only client was only his younger brother. he was essentially being paid by a state to be a care giver for his younger brother and take care of his daily news. >> scott mclean reporting live, scott, thank you. here and beyond some people are unite go to show support for the dallas police department. in new jersey pemberton police hosted a prayer vigil. community honored five police men killed in dallas while also supporting their local law enforcement officers. your time 6:34. salem county police are searching for person shot

and killed a man and drove off with the victim's toddler in the car. this all started right around 4:00 p.m. near broad and church street in pittsgrove where police say a 24 year-old man was shot multiple times. they say suspect then drove off in the car, with the victim's one year-old son inside. the car was found abandoned a short time later at fifth and wood streets in the northern liberties section of philadelphia. that child was inside of the car, but in the hurt. the democratic national convention is about two weeks away and now we know the security plan that will be in place when the thousands of delegates come to town and protesters will come with them. our sarah bloomquist has more. >> reporter: the democrats are coming to the wells fargo center and the protesters will join them right across the street at fdr park. all of the traffic restrictions are centered in this area of south philadelphia unlike the papal visit do you remember that traffic box? nothing like that for dnc, although it is also a national special security event.

>> you cannot compare the papal visit the to the tell i can national convention. it is much, you know, confined area. it is minimally impact full. >> we want businesses to stay opened and that we show a national audience how great philadelphia is. >> reporter: dnc runs from july 25th to the 28th, traffic restrictions start taking effect the saturday before and will be confine, generally between packer avenue and naval yard. those with proper credentials will get in the wells fargo vicinity after egg go through security. protesters will be direct to fdr park. >> it is in close proximity to the delegates. buses will than drive right by them. that was very important as we check fdr park. >> reporter: philadelphia police said they dealt with many protests before, take last night as an example. the commissioner says for the dnc. the response will be fluid. >> we will respect the constitution and everyone's right to protest and i think that the city and police

in light of the recent killings by police officers protesters will designate certain people to act as so-called, cop watchers. they are responsible for recording officers responding to the protest, then they say they are confident that philadelphia police are prepared. >> i think the police here are awesome, and they have improved with community relations, a lot over the past few years but that doesn't hurt to be prepared. >> reporter: organizers also say what toe expect if you air rested and how to post bail. three more sessions are scheduled over the coming weeks. bernie sanders has not yet endorsed hillary clinton as he continues to push for changes for democratic party's platform. during a policy meeting yesterday sanders won concession by climate change but failed to get group to oppose transpacific partnership trade deal. aids to both clinton and sanders say newly amended platform draft is most progress any of party history.
