latest. a water main triggered a flood into the basement of a popular restaurant and wine bar and destabilizing the building. the owner said he lost his entire wine and food inventory when the basement flooded. >> it will be a while before i can get anybody into the space. i need a structural career before we can let -- engineer before we can let anyone in there. >> it's a tough day for coopers restaurant who will be miss thei. >> reporter: the predawn flooding was an ominous sign of what the rest of the day would be like. water service was stopped and the gas shut off to the east side of the 43 and 4400 blocks of main street meaning a lot of establishments could not open on their busy friday. >> looks like we'll be open tomorrow, we're lucky that we suffered no damage.
