special day near and dear to my heart. two years ago, one of bachelor nation's favorite couples got engaged and rode off into the sunset on a giant elephant. they've since gotten married. and today, they'll be working together hoping to leave with a big bag of cash to donate to their charity, micaela's army. from my hometown of dallas, texas, please welcome sean and catherine lowe. [cheers and applause] hey, brother. good to see you. guys, come on over. welcome. yeah, nothing will ever beat riding off into the sunset on a giant elephant. >> no. >> it's all downhill from here. >> i dare another guy to try to top that proposal. >> right? beat that. >> can't happen. >> before we talk about your time on "the bachelor," i want to talk about your charity, micaela's army. what is it? why is it near and dear to your heart? >> micaela's army, incredible pediatric cancer charity. they're doing amazing work. if you don't know, pediatric cancer is severely underfunded.
1:36 am
and this foundation i came to know because micaela was a young girl who loved watching "the bachelor" with all her girlfriends and her family. and they would get together every monday night and watch it. and sadly, she passed away as a senior in high school from cancer. well, her friends still got together at her family's house, in honor of micaela, every monday. and i knew a nurse that worked at the hospital that micaela was in, and she said, "think it'd be really cool if you surprised them." and so i did, and i met her friends and family, became acquainted with micaela's army, and i've been a board member for three years now. >> wow, good for you. that's awesome. >> yeah, thank you. >> so 100% of the money earned here today is going to micaela's army. >> yes. >> that's awesome. so hopefully, we'll do some real good for them. it's been a year now, you guys have been married? >> both: year and a half, yeah. >> did the televised wedding. what's life been like? now you're just an old married couple. >> no, we have fun every day. we've been--you know, we've been a great team. and so that's what we are hoping to bring today.
1:37 am
>> you guys are gonna be great. we're gonna raise a lot of money for micaela's army. let me tell you how we're gonna do that today. there's 14 questions. the money value's growing from $500 all the way up to $1 million. [cheers and applause] every question you answer correctly moves you one step closer to that top prize. remember, at any time, you can walk away with the money you've earned up to that point and donate that to your charity. of course, you give me an incorrect answer, you walk away with nothing until you get to those thresholds. there's two of them--$5,000, then again at $50,000. you also have your three lifelines. you know how those work. the audience will help you out on one of the questions today if you need. "50/50," we take away two incorrect answers. and your "plus one"--i mean, you already have your plus one, but you have a plus plus one. who's joining you today? >> today, we have regina in the audience. and regina is a family friend with micaela's family. so she's near and dear to our charity as well. >> this is great. well, glad you're here. hopefully we'll raise a lot of money for micaela's army. and it's good to have you guys here.
1:38 am
>> it's good to be here. >> so let's do it. >> let's play "who wants to be a millionaire." [dramatic musical flourish] just got real. >> little nervous. >> it all starts with your $500 question. here it is. in a 2015 hit, maroon 5 sings, "you show me good loving, make it all right, need a little sweetness in my life your--" what, "yes, please"? >> how about d. >> i think d sounds right. so we're gonna go d. final answer. >> "your sugar, yes, please." that's right, of course. you're on the board. >> whoo-hoo! we can go home to dallas now. >> second question's worth $1,000. here it is. a 2015 webby award winner for weirdness, what site helps give

[cheers and applause] i like it, like, when in doubt, just lock it in. $3,000, all right, the next step is $5,000, but it's also the first threshold you guys can get to, that first safety net. so let's get there with this question. asking prospective leads to sing a few bars of "ease on down the road" or "home," in 2015, nbc
