children. authorities have not said who pulled the trigger or what set off the tragedy. we know that willow short underwent a heart transplant when she was less than a week old. "action news" is working to learn more information on the tragedy that has shaken the town of sinking springs berks county. new information to tell you about this morning, a man is fighting for his life after he was shot outside his home in west philadelphia. his 3 and 7-year-old children were inside the car when the shots shattered his drivers side window. one bullet critically injured the driver as he tried to park the car. the shooting happened along the 5500 block of spring street. the children were not hit by the gunfire. they are looking for the shooter. we know detectives are trying to figure out if the victim and his children were targets and if so, why. camden bb and t pavilion is

making changes after a railing collapsed during a concert. look at that, dozens of fans fell five feet on to concrete on top of each other as rappers snoop dogg and wiz khalifa performed just feet away. the most seriously injured person is out of the hospital. the criminal justice center today. testing two elevators involved in an accident. sheriff deputy paul owen is in the hospital with a broken back. the cjc was opened for limited business on friday. we're awaiting word on whether it will be open for business tomorrow and we'll update you as soon as we know. 6:07. a firefighter was sent to the hospital after battling a fire at a warehouse in pennsauken, new jersey. the fire started in the 800 block of hilton road. jeff chirico has more. >> reporter: the firefighter hurt his ankle responding to the fire, we heard he is going to be okay. the building was being renovated when the blaze broke out. viewer video shows smoke

billowing into the air. firefighters got the call and found the roof burning on the 800 block of hilton road. >> short time ago, roofing contractors were conducting their business on the roof on the far right side of the building. >> reporter: the building is being turned into a steel manufacturerring plant. it is unclear if the roofers who just left accidently sparked the blaze. firefighters had it under control in 30 minutes containing the damage to the roof. >> the weather was worse than the fire we had to call in additional manpower. >> reporter: there was smoke and water damage inside, but nothing that will impact the renovation. the fire is under investigation. jeff chirico channel 6 "action news." >> turning to the race for president, hillary clinton leads donald trump nationwide by 8

found last night shot inside their home on winding brook drive in sinking springs. the district attorney has identified the dead as mark short his wife magazine began meghan and his three children. police are trying to determine who fired the shots. a biker was shot death at a southwest philadelphia gas station while leaning against his motorcycle. the action cam was at the scene essington avenue. the victim was shot at close range at 2:30 a.m. police are questioning the witnesses and checking surveillance cameras in the area. so far they have not released the victim's name or indicated whether they have uncovered any motive or suspect. south jersey officials are warning residents of a deadly form of heroin in the area. police had to use narcan in give borough and paulsboro.

>> on april 1, 2016 roughly around 8:30 p.m., metro police department responded to a 911 call of a person shot in the intersection. >> reporter: police arrived on the 500 block of trenton street in camden and found the 55-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound. he was taken to cooper university hospital where he was pronounced dead. >> we learned that the victim's vehicle was taken from the scene. >> reporter: saltaro used that vehicle to help out his neighbors. >> we know community wise he was active with giving people rides from the east camden section of cam dental city to other parts of the city. >> reporter: the stolen vehicle was found abandoned and in tact. it was found in the parkside neighborhood. >> reporter: 1,000-dollar reward is offered by the citizens crime
