close to 110. beautiful shot looking at the camden waterfront, the sun is starting to rise, you can see the clouds, 82 degrees in the city. it didn't cool off too much, i believe the overnight low was 79. wilmington, 81. millville, 81. dover, 81. mid 70s north and west. satellite and radar, there's a frontal system well up here, this would ultimately put an end to the heat wave, the problem is this ridge, the high pressure that's providing the heat is so strong off the coast of the carolinas. this is moving at a snail's paste and it won't get in here until next week. we have a lot of this to come. starting out with sunshine, puffy cumulus clouds developing this afternoon and one or two areas pick up a brief thunderstorm north and west of the city. 1:00 p.m., 97. 5:00 p.m., 98. that's the forecasted high. with the humidity it feels like

shoulder. investigators are looking for a person involved in this. officers are sorting out what started the fight on the 900 block of wharton street. a 19-year-old man was stabbed waiting for a bus, he was attacked outside the busy transportation center on bridge street around midnight. police rushed him to temple university hospital in critical condition. there's no word on who stabbed the man or why. an 18-year-old is dead after a shooting in germantown. 8 shots were fired and shell casings littered the scene there. police are looking for the shooter and searching for a motive. a former army specialist has been found guilty in a lehigh courtroom. he was accused of killing the mother of his underage girlfriend. it took less than a hour to find him guilty of first degree murder. his girlfriend did not take the

stand and pleaded guilty to helping plan the murder. barns will be sentenced september 19. first degree murder carries a mandatory life sentence. in a stunning move, kathleen kane rested yesterday she is accused of leaking grand jury evidence to the press and lying about it under oath. legal experts explain why it would have been difficult for her to take the stand and argue that former aids were lying on the stand. >> if she testified she would open herself up to a difficult cross-examination which she would have to have call persons liars say they were perjuring
