again, police in hamilton township are investigating the shooting. sources are telling "action news" this morning that this involved a corrections officer stay with "action news" and 6abc.com for the latest developments as they come into our newsroom. it is 9:03. new information to tell you about this morning, someone shot two men on a philadelphia playground and police are telling us this is a case of murder. the men were shot at hawthorne and meadow in frankford late last night. a 24-year-old man died at the hospital. a 27-year-old man is in the hospital in critical condition. police are working to track down the shooter and figure out the motive. a motorcycle rider fighting for his life in another case of gun violence shot in the groin near 59th and baltimore. that man is in critical condition at penn presbyterian. police have not released information about an arrest or

motive. >> this morning another man is recovering after a stabbing outside a philadelphia hot spot. he was stabbed in the shoulder after an altercation at pat's steaks on wharton street before 2:00 a.m. the man is in stable condition. no word on what led to the violence. this morning a 6-year-old boy is fighting for his life after being caught in a gun battle in philadelphia's germantown section. police are right now offering a reward for information.
