stabbing out in the streets of tioga-nicetown section, police were called to the scene of german town avenue at 3:15 this afternoon. the victim was stabbed once in the abdomen he was taken to the hospital in critical condition. new at 5:00, delaware state police say that a 73-year-old man is said to be okay after an accident caused his car to flip over at harvey road and hillside road in arden. the driver of the overturned car is in stable condition at christiana hospital. new at 5:00, a woman is speaking only to "action news" about a harrowing encounter with a taxi driver, the driver was arrested just last week. accused of attacking her inside of his cab. people have died. an estimated 6,000 people are staying in shelters with nowhere else to go. >> turning to health check, there are three more cases of locally spread zika virus in south jersey, health reporter, ali gorman is at the big board with the update. >> this brings the total to 33 none travel related cases of zika in florida. officials say that one is inside of the known affected area, and two are outside of it, but they believe that active transmission remains in a small area and the investigation continues along with measures to control mosquitos. >> in other news today. for parents using a stroller may seem like second nature, but there say surprising number of injuries reported every year. life is busy with 2-year-old twins, justin and lauren bird rely on their double stroller to get their boys around but they recently learned how quickly

stocks closed slightly higher this afternoon after the minutes from the federal reserve policy meeting was released. the notes show that the fed is in no rush to raise interest rates. the dow jones rose 22.5 points and the s&p 500 up 4 and change. and uber is getting into the food delivery business, the spinoff app, uber eats, is up and running. you can order from restaurants around the city and gives you a time frame, you can order through the new uber eats apps and it's delivered by car or bike. the business technology is booming in our region, members of a pennsylvania house committee met at the university city science center to talk

feeling is the drop in humidity. you see the dew points have fallen into the 60s for philadelphia and allentown and reading as well as the poconos. so somewhat drier air has moved in with those north northwesterly winds, still holding at 70 or better, extreme southern new jersey as well as central delaware where it remains oppressive. a live look at cape may right now. folks will enjoying the sand and water and no sea breeze at the shore, so this is where it felt more uncomfortable. as we go into the overnight hours, downpours are developing in central parts of pennsylvania and virginia and west virginia. a thunderstorm or two cannot be ruled out tonight, 74 philadelphia, 70 in millville and 62 in dover. as we look at future tracker 6 by 10:00 tonight we see downpours and storms developing especially south and west of

massive flames feeding on dry brush and strong winds are black ening parts of southern california. a fire near san bernardino exploded in intensity and now it's a staggering, 47 square miles, 47,000 people are under evacuation order because of the blue cut fire. this time lapse behind me gives you an idea of what is happening and how big this fire has gotten. officials are not sure how many homes and buildings have been destroyed. but they are telling families in the area be prepared to come home to nothing. >> abc diane is near the zone covering this for us. >> reporter: sharrie, you mentioned the damage done by the fire, this is one example of the

to contain it. >> donna thank you. >> thank you. it was a frightening morning for 500 passengers off a large ship off the coast of san juan, puerto rico when they were forced to put on their life jackets and evacuate. the fire started in the engine room of the fantasy. as it was traveling back from the dominicanublic smoke could be seen for miles. you see the massive slide that they slid down to get to safety as helicopters hovered over head. more than 100 needed medical attention and most were suffering from heat stroke and dehead ration, 20 people needed to go to the hospital and one person broke his leg going down the money slides.

>> there is only 300 of them left in the wild. a little over 150 here in the united states and native to a small island off the coast of new zealand. >> wow. so goats pretty much eat everything and they are endangered because they invasive. >> they destroyed the native trees and people thought they were pests and taking over and eating anything in their sight and that made them critically endangered. this is the trick we were talking about -- they can jump. >> this breed of goats can jump 7 feet in the air. >> they are talented. goats are typically smart. >> very smart, we do a goat training demo for our guests, every day. you can come into kids zoo and see that. and see how tal ened they are and the training behaviors we
