in the neck, the 33-year-old victim was taken to jefferson hospital listed in critical condition. police are searching for a suspect after a shooting in philadelphia's frankford section of shots were fired at 10:00 p.m. at oxford and folcroft street. a 31-year-old man was shot twice and taken to the hospital in stable condition. no arrests have been made. we turn to the race for the white house, republican nominee, donald trump made a trip to flood ravaged louisiana. le trump's visit comes in the shadows of the shake up of his campaign. donald trump said there should not be any such visit because it -- hillary said there should not be any visit because it will distract from the rescue. >> reporter: donald trump was lending a hand and meeting the people, touring the devastation.

charges including involuntary servitude. a judge ruled a teen accused of beating her classmate who later died will be tried in family court. amy joyner france was assaulted in the bathroom. autopsy determined she died from a preexisting heart condition triggered by the attack. the 16-year-old defendant is charged with criminally negligent homicide and conspiracy. the victim's family said it is unfortunate that three people will get away with murdering our amy. surveillance video shows the frightening moment when customers inside a bar in hunting park came face-to-face with a robber's gun. this happened at frank's place 4200 block of christian's street. the robber got away with cell phone and purse. kids in montgomery found

out what it's like to become a police officer. it is the last day of the camp. it finished an intense week of learning, the physical and mental preparation of becoming a law enforcement officer. graduation ceremonies were held last night for all the campers. a cumberland county police officer died nine years ago while saving a young woman's life. today he continues to be an inspiration to her now his life is being honored in a remarkable away. jeff chirico with that story. >> i was at a bad point in my life and i never would have thought i would here yesterday. >> reporter: satora jenkins is brought to tears about her journey becoming a corrections

90 degrees is the high temperature we're shooting for today. we're getting used to the 90s right? 85 is the normal for this time of the year, we're staggered out at 73 degrees. 90-degree days, this was a forecast i was hoping that accuweather was off on this prediction. 90-degree day, 27 days is what we see for 90 or higher. the prediction was 32. so far we have seen 34, if we hit 93 today it will be 35. we have had our share of 90s. cape may, 77, atlantic city, 76 degrees. poconos 56 degrees. as we look across the lower 48. this is a powerful cold front for this time of the year, the air mass behind this will feel like fall. it is very, very comfortable across the high plains and the

western great lake states. no humidity and the temperatures are in the 50s and 60s. that air mass is heading this way, it arrives monday morning. all the thunderstorm activity stays to the west. as we get into sunday that frontal system plows through and takes the heat and humidity out to sea. by the time we get into under morning, the problem is we have to get through the round of strong showers and thunderstorms. we'll skip over today. today is sun and clouds, warm and sticky, high of 90 degrees. sunday morning all is quiet, look for a combination of sun and clouds. you'll notice a huge increase in the humidity for tomorrow afternoon. 4:30 p.m., as the cold front approaches we'll see the showers and thunderstorms pepper the region here. some of them will be on the stronger side with drenching downpours and powerful winds. by 9:00, the line fizzles out a little bit. sunday into monday, it crosses the region and works out to sea and that's where the cooler

the peak index is 91, 92. we can handle that after we had temperatures in the 110-degree range. it will get better sunday and monday when i come back, i'll show you the relief in the exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast. >> this morning on "action news" we're following several developing stories, first up arc woman in a wheelchair has died after being struck by hit hit-and-run driver in north philadelphia. she was hit on lehigh avenue near masher street at 1:40 a.m. the victim died at temple university hospital. the driver was pulled away for an un related matter from the scene and arrested when the officers discovered he was involved in the hit-and-run. a shooting at a teenage party left a male victim injured. the shooting happened 1500 block

of off and on lane in north coventry township. the police are trying to find out who shot the victim and a motive. a crash in the lehigh valley, a victim was trapped under a an overturned vehicle in hanover township, lehigh county. five others were taken to the hospital to be treated. so far police have not said who caused the crash. time 6:33. we have an "action news" exclusive, a man rushes to the scene of a fiery crash in glasgow, delaware, he helps to save a little boy inside a burning truck. that man spoke with bob brooks about his quick action. >> it's video that's scary to look at, a major accident at an intersection in glasgow, an 18 wheeler collided with the pick

up truck, the truck exploded into flames. everyone is trapped inside including a 6-year-old little going boy, that's when good samaritan, eladio de shielvs sprung into action. >> the guy i work for, he said looks like somebody is stuck inside the car. >> reporter: indeed it was the 6-year-old he and others saw, and knew time was running out. >> there were several people trying to pull him out of the car. >> reporter: eladio de shielvs noticed a fire extinguisher from the tractor-trailer, it didn't work, so he used it as a hammer. >> i picked it up and started banging the window. it broke. >> reporter: the boy's leg was stuck. the flames were getting bigger, so big, others ran away. eladio de shielvs did not. everybody started backing off the car, i don't know what it was, i didn't want to leave the car. it was the kid's life. i don't know what it was, i didn't want to leave the car. >> thankfully an officer showed

it was the 34th time this year we hit 90 degrees or higher and we had five heat wains b -- heat waves. our forecasted high is 90, our heat index, 91. dewpoint, 70. sticky this morning, pressure is holding steady. the winds are very light out of the northeast at 3 miles per hour. comfortable stuff up here, 56 in the poconos, allentown, 65. upper 60s close to 70 degrees for everybody else. satellite and radar there's the next system we're watching. right now it doesn't look too terribly impressive. there's a low pressure system right here by the u.s./canadian border. trailing cold front slides through late in the day on sunday. that will trigger showers and thunderstorms and some of them will be strong. combination of sun and clouds, throughout the day with increasing humidity leaves. you'll notice that immediately.

the humidity will be down right awful again on sunday, you can see by afternoon we get the showers and thunderstorms flaring up as the cold front approaches. 9:00 p.m. they begin to fall apart, but it looks like it will least pull through the city and most of interior sections of south jersey before fizzingle- fizzling out. look at this high for monday, the model has us at barely 80 degrees. allentown, 77. poconos, 68 degrees, bow that will feel good. trenton, 79. wilmington, 80 and dover 81. it's been a rough stretch, but hang in there, we have delightful weather right in the about five hundred miles to the west now. sun and clouds today, humid, 90 degrees is the forecasted high from accuweather, with a feels like temperature around 91. this is the way it will play out
