back up. 87 as it turns warmer on wednesday, just a few clouds and the humidity stays in check by that point but then by thursday, warm and definitely more humid, up to 89 degrees and there could be a scattered thunderstorm developing in the afternoon north and west of philadelphia and then the haze, the heat, the humidity all combine again here at the end of the week on friday with a high temperature of 93 degrees with some thunderstorms developing in the afternoon but by the weekend, the humidity should come down a little bit here saturday and sunday. it's sunny both days. just a few clouds. still hot though above average upper 80's to around 90 degrees. at this point we don't have an official heat wave of three days consecutively of 90 or above but it's going to be really close here and then it stays warm and muggy as we go into the new week with temperatures in the upper 80's with some haze and sunshine but this high pressure coming in is just kind of an indication that we're moving towards the end of summer as you start to grasp some of that fall feeling in the air, but summer definitely still winning in that seven-day forecast overall.
