live double scan no precipitation, we had the beauty of a blue sky today with the low humidity and temperatures running below average, 80 right now in the lehigh valley. the same for reading and 82 in philadelphia that was the high for today and 82 in wilmington and dover as well as millville and along the shore 77 in beach haven and the ocean temperature pleasant at 75 degrees, sinking air overhead and you can't really get the clouds to form and with the dry air mass in place, no humidity whatsoever to fuel some of those clouds, but small changes are arriving here tomorrow and especially by the end of the week. for tonight it's clear and cool and we are in the comfy zone and 56 in the suburbs with a light wind out of the southwesterly direction and tomorrow the highs off the coast. it is still comfortable and we don't pump in the humidity right away.

the numbers go up to 87 degrees and back above normal and ahead of a cold front on thursday, the muggy weather returns and we jump it back up to 89 degrees and could be a shower or thunderstorm west of philadelphia but overall thursday looks dry especially for the shore. again low risk for rip currents and ocean in new jersey, 81 degrees and the delaware beaches 82 degrees and knock off 5 or 6 degrees with the sea breeze in effect with the south we wind. we look at the tropics they are heating up as well. we have one tropical storm now expected to become a weak category one and eventually weak category two hurricane. gaston is moving into the northern atlantic, no threat to any land mass, but we track a
