news" is a fatal fall at a delaware state park, a woman is dead after plunging 30 to 40 feet this afternoon. the incident happened at lum's state park. dann cuellar is joining us live there. >> reporter: monica, the go ape adventure has been shut down for the day following the fatal accident, an accident that has not been fully explained what we know is this, according to authorities, at 2:38 a woman guest here at the go ape zip line fell 30 to 40 feet off a platform down below to an area that makes up lum's state park. paramedics had to perform cpr on the route to the trauma unit where she was pronounced dead. they are investigating how the woman fell off the platform.

these platforms are usually shrouded by railings and other materials. according to the website go ape features a tree top experience, you take on obstacles and tarzan swings and an incredible view of the park. a statement from the company says they are investigating the cause of the situation and will provide information once it is made available. but we have confirm that a 59-year-old woman is dead after falling 30 to 40 feet off a platform to the ground down below. her identity has not been released. i'm dann cuellar, channel 6 "action news." >> thank you. now, to a warning for women. philadelphia police are searching for a man on a bicycle that they say has been riding

around groping women. the suspect is wanted for at least four sexual assaults in south philadelphia and center city this month alone. john rawlins is live at the scene of one of those attacks. >> reporter: well monica, the special victims units hopes that the video she released will generate tips, it is believed that the man on the bicycle is responsible for a series of indecent assaults that began two and a half weeks ago. >> it all happens quickly. >> the crime happens in just seconds. a man on a bike reached out and indecently gropes a woman and she screams and he takes off never looking back. he comes up behind them on all the occasions and reaches up under their dress and basically gropes them. >> the first attack on august 6th on south 14th and then the

clear image of the assailant and investigating a possible fifth incident today. and if this person seems familiar the special victims unit would love for you to give them a call. two men accused of having sex with a 15-year-old girl will go to trial. 57-year-old lawrence jamison and 25-year-old john brown were in a westchester courtroom today. police say they tricked a 15-year-old girl into a relationship and investigators found more than 5,000 imaged and videos of child porn at jamison's home in malvern and they face sex trafficking and child pornography and sex assault charges. police are asking any other victims to please come forward. we are following the story unfolding from central italy. at least 159 people are dead after a 6.2 magnitude earthquake. the quake hit at 3:30 in the morning and since then they

center city as jurors paid tribute to the defendant that sat in jail for so long and slammed the district attorney for keeping tony wright behind bars as long as he possibly could. >> the jury that liberated tony wright came to praise and embrace him. they claim he was the victim of misconduct by the police and district attorney dating back to 1991. >> 25 years, that is when his neighbor louise tally was raped and stabbed to death inside of her philadelphia home. wright says he was railroaded and forced to sign a convention statement he never made and sentenced to life. >> yesterday wright, his lawyers from the innocence project and his family walked out of the courthouse after the jury took less than one hour to find him not guilty of all charges.

last year the innocence project forced the dna evidence that showed his innocence. >> when you get dna results that say he is not the right person it's a new level ofvesty of justice. >> tony was kept in jail for another two years when he should have been free. >> it was years of agony know that the construction worker did not commit this crime and he can now hold his grandchildren in his arms and his son now 29 cannot remember seeing his father outside of prison walls. >> now he can pick up a phone and call me at any given second. >> i'm like a baby now, i have not breathed this type of air, i haven't been hugged so much in

so long. >> reporter: monica tonight the wright family tells me it they have decided or even discusses to file a civil lawsuit against the city of philadelphia. in center city, i'm vernon odom, channel 6 "action news." >> thank you. a big job fair had the ballroom at bally's in atlantic city bustling. caesars entertainment was trying to fill 500 open spots at the atlantic city, philadelphia and baltimore casinos, over 200 jobs are at the baltimore horseshoe casino location. some were being hired on the spot. >> there was move-in day for the class of 2020 at philadelphia's largest universities, thousands of freshman moved into to temple and the university of pennsylvania. they came with everything from clothes and microwave ovens and lots of electronics, at penn teams of volunteers helped to do

breaking news right now, chop 6 over the scene where a two vehicle accident has seriously injured one person. you see the overturned vehicle in the center of your screen. we believe that one victim was ejected and pinned under one vehicle. and was air-lifted for emergency street books treatment. again, 57 old easton road in plumstead township buck county. no word yet on what led to the accidents. federal and local law enforcement put their skills to the test in montgomery county, bomb units and s.w.a.t. teams took to the schuylkill river on barbados island. this was just a drill and the mar time exercise gives the officers a chance to test their response to a pressure filled situation.

and a drill in hamilton township, pseg crews were simulating a gas leak and in this drill a contractor hit an underground line and caused an explosion. many are caused by contractors who did not get the gas lines marked first. on a lighter note it is an end of summer barbecue but with a mission, help the homeless get the services they need and feed them a delicious meal. walter perez tells us about this important tradition in camden county. >> the camden county point in time homeless connect cookout is an eight year tradition and the primary goal is to make sure that camden's homeless population is aware of the resources available. you can connect them with the agency and provide them services with something to eat. when we go to the food bank they

give us staples that we can give to families. >> the cookout doubles as an information workshop where homeless family and individuals can learn how to apply for social security and access mental health services or get a basic checkup. melissa is from one of three federally funded clinics and the hardest part is convincing a homeless person that they need a checkup. >> have you to talk to them and form a relationship with them. >> that is the reason for the cookout to spend time with people that need the most help and let them know that someone cares. james ingels came to the cookout and is now a shelter employee and no longer homeless. >> i am now have my own housing. >> a survivor makes her believe
