you can see this in the newly release surveillance video, the crash knocked the sarge's shoes off and was brought to the hospital with multiple injuries including a broken collar bone. >> police caught the driver about a mile away. colin murphy is charges with driving under the influence. a man from langhorne is behind bars right now accused of stealing $600,000 worth of equipment from septa. investigators say that 28-year-old kyle allen was an actual septa employee and they say he took batteries, wire and even parts for the l train and sold them for scrap. in all they say he stole $638,000 worth of parts from six different septa properties.

he is in jail unable to post $75,000 bail. they are picking up the pieces from at least eight tornadoes in central indiana. buildings and homes are missing roofs and entire walls because of yesterday's twisters. republican governor and vice president nominee, mike pence visited with customers that were in starbucks when it collapsed. homeowners say it's painful to see the damage. >> the house is still standing with minor damage, and you look down the street and wonder why they deserved it. >> i am thankful that everyone is okay. >> it's time now for a check of the accuweather forecast. >> lets go outside to meteorologist, adam joseph, with a look at how it feels outside and that heat is continuing to rise. we feel it. >> it feels sticky, it doesn't feel like yesterday or the day

enterprise but once again offered no proof. >> a broken pipe offers headaches for one part of the chester county. it turns out that fixing the problem will take longer than expected. john rawlins is live with details on the extra time and the extra cost that entailed with this one john. >> reporter: hi sharrie, at the center of all of this is the large sewer line that runs through valley forge park, it has in the past dumped millions of gallons of raw sewage into the creek. the hope was to reopen the roads by mid summer and now labor day and now that won't happen because of an unexpected glitch. heavy blastic is used to help a deteriorated main. roads that carried 200 thousand vehicles a day had to close.

the line served 70,000 customers including east white land. it runs 3.5 miles underground through valley forge park and crosses the schuylkill river twice before getting to the treatment plant but problems have caused unexpected delays. the township engineer shows the debris that took weeks to be removed. >> we found that the interior lining of the pipes wore away. >> that mean the roads, route 252 and yellow bridge will not open by labor day. we are looking for an october date to open 252, yellow springs road not until early november. drivers are not happy but most reacted this way. >> i don't really care it has been close ford a while now -- a few more months. >> you don't have any great expectations?

and the search is going on around the clock. the drone video shows the scale of devastation after the 6.2 magnitude quake. one person describes the earthquake. >> i could only member i would not breathe, i was grasping and i thought i was dead. >> he survived. and rescuers and survivors are clinging to every victory they can. including this, huge cheers when a 10-year-old girl and another boy were rescued from the rubble. italian officials say the search will continue for the next few days. >> the maker of the epi pen will offer discounted to more patients following outcry over the price hike. mylynn pharmaceuticals are hosting an assistance program but not budging on the $600 price tag for the drug. the ceo is the daughter of u.s. senator joe mansion, he is concerned about the price hikes

talkers. and circumstances surrounding the death of a woman on a zip line course in bear, delaware. vernon odom is live with the latest on this investigation. >> reporter: good afternoon alicia, the company that operates the zip line attraction here has already cleared itself of negligence or malfunctioning equipment. and the late victim go ape says caused this tragedy. this was a happy tina warner at her daughter's recent wedding but last night her life ended in sudden tragedy, it was warner that plunged 40 feet to her dental lum's state park on the go ape zip line. they are still in the midst the their investigation. >> there are two sections you trance verse on the zip line and she completed three of the four and was on the fourth when this happened. >> go ape attraction was shut down completely today and late

this afternoon the go ape company issued a statement saying they are saddened by this tragedy, but their outfit with more than 6 million customers worldwide structs customers on safety for zip lining and they found no evidence of equipment failure. witnesses say that tina warner underwent the safety training before going on the go ape trail. at the time of the accident the participant had unfortunately disconnected herself from the safety system. >> we don't have reason to believe that foul play is suspected but we are looking into all the circumstances surrounding the incident. >> reporter: alicia at last word the police have not completed their formal investigation. live in bear, delaware, i'm vernon odom, channel 6 "action news." all right vernon thank you. >> in philadelphia, police are

trying to figure out who shot and killed a man in kensington and why. the action cam was along the 1800 block of east modson street as they marked shell katsings and the victim was shot in the chest at 4:30 this morning and rushed to temple hospital and pronounced dead a short time later. no one has been arrested . police in ocean county picked up a suspect accused of possessing child pornography. 54-year-old carlos rojas was arrested on point pleasant beach. police confiscated hard drives and computer there's. rojas will be the subject of an immigration detainer. and the search is on for the man that robbed a philadelphia bank today. police gave us pictures of the crime in progress at the republic bank branch on frankford avenue. the man gave the teller a note

and demanded money and got away with an unknown amount of cash. he was last seen on frankford this morning and he is considered armed and dangerous. a local mom is facing questions over why her 3-year-old son was walking alone on a busy street today. police believe this video shows the child seen there on mcdade boulevard in collingdale at 7:15 this morning. officers found him safe after someone called 911. the boy had been staying with his ufrkle just a few blocks away and investigators are trying to determine how he got out of the home and wound up next to trolley tracks and heavy traffic. >> don't believe there is criminal charges pending but i could be wrong, on the face of what i heard maybe some parenting skills need to be fine tuned. take care of this kid so he has a bright future.

winning shot. lets get a check of the roads tonight. >> often times we have an axe to grind with the schuylkill expressway and i-95, we like to chop down the delays but they are out here in full effect. this is 95 southbound side headed to the walt whitman bridge and not only is there volume with people getting out of town early for the weekend heading down the shore, there was also a truck that broke down on the eastbound span of the walt earlier this afternoon. we have restrictions there just 13 miles per hour on the schuylkill heading towards the walt, if you try to get into new jersey this afternoon. i would do so via the ben franklin bridge and the walt is not your best bet. trying to exit at city avenue an accident on the off ramp but our crash on city at belmont has cleared out. but unfortunate news for you and many of you waiting for the
