ground. >> he will likely spent more nights in the hospital but make a full recovery. >> he is okay considering. he is in pain, he took a significant strike and he is fortunate to be alive and he said as much to me this morning in the hospital. >> police say that the driver is this man, collin murphy, police say after spending the night drinking in manayunk got behind the wheel almost killing the sergeant and after fleeing the scene spot bid a good samaritan. >> i am told a tow truck driver assisted us, he saw the car and alerted another police officer. we are thankful to him. >> reporter: and collin murphy faces dui and aggravated assault and other related charges and at last check he was behind bars, the sergeant's name is not
