ground. >> he will likely spent more nights in the hospital but make a full recovery. >> he is okay considering. he is in pain, he took a significant strike and he is fortunate to be alive and he said as much to me this morning in the hospital. >> police say that the driver is this man, collin murphy, police say after spending the night drinking in manayunk got behind the wheel almost killing the sergeant and after fleeing the scene spot bid a good samaritan. >> i am told a tow truck driver assisted us, he saw the car and alerted another police officer. we are thankful to him. >> reporter: and collin murphy faces dui and aggravated assault and other related charges and at last check he was behind bars, the sergeant's name is not

released but expected to make a full recovery. >> thank you. >> camden county police are looking for leads after an 8-year-old girl was caught in the crossfire of a gun battle and the little girl remains in critical condition. jeanette reyes is live now. you spoke with an emotional babysitter of this victim. >> reporter: monica it's just been an emotional day all around, we see young children friended of this little girl crying, take a look behind me, you can see people gather tlg, that is where a vigil will get underway in minutes. many people praying that this girl pulls through. >> the horror of last night's shooting is too much for an emotional avina hall. she lives near where the 8 yelled little girl was shot in the head. hall frequently baby sat her. >> she was a good child and play aid lot and played with my granddaughter every day. >> it started 8:30 last night

with the sound of gunshots probably originating from the alley and then an unexpected pounding on the door. >> i didn't answer the door at first, because of the gunshots and we looked out the window and i saw it was her and she ran across the street to her baby. >> the victim's mother cradled her daughter's head and hall felt for a pulse and it was faint. police arrived and the victim was taken to cooper hospital where she remains in critical condition. they handed out flyers with a $6,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction. >> we will investigate that which led to the shooting, what is the reason why she were doing this and put a laser like focus on this. >> i'm angry this is an understatement, this is an

converters and other parts and sold them for scrap. allen remains in jail tonight at $75,000 bail. a 3-year-old boy is safe after found wandering along a busy street in collingdale alone. this video shows the child on mcdade boulevard at 7:15 this morning. officers found him safe after someone called 911. the child was staying with his uncle and the child's mother lives in northeast philadelphia and police do not expect to file charges. >> delaware state police identified the 59-year-old woman that fell to her death at lum's state park. tina fell ton was on the go ape zip line course. authorities say she was 35 feet aboveground waiting to descend on a zip line when she fell off the platt ffoplatform.

a witness report that warner disconnected herself from the safety system right before the fall. a broken pipe has been calling traffic tie-ups for months for drivers in chester county and now the fix is going take longer than they thought.
