parking lot of a beer distributer in the crescentville section. the victim is in critical condition at einstein medical center. the three people approached him and brutally beat him. no arrests have been made. new video this morning that you have to see. this captures a robbery at a septa station, a man pulls a gun, you see him there, he pulls the gun from his backpack and demands the women gives up her purse. this happened 6:15 web platform. market frankford line, take a good look if you know the person or have any information call septa police. and to the city to learn who is responsible. >> reporter: this is 27-year-old mike smith of south philadelphia. he said on wednesday night he was jogging around the neighborhood working out when he arrived at the traffic light pole at 20th and oregon. i had my ankle weights on and i leaned up against the pole. i felt like somebody punched me in the back of the head. i lost my sight. >> reporter: paramedics transported him to penn presbyterian hospital where he was treated for electric shock. he would learn that he came in contact with exposed wires at the bottom of the pole. his father called to report the problem. who did you call? >> my father called peco. >> reporter: when he noticed the problem had not been fixed he contacted us.

stolen before the event. one suspect is in custody. >> we'll get the rest of the bikes back by the weekend. >> glad to hear the bikes will be returned. nine bikes were stolen four recovered in a bust earlier this week. last night officers located the u-haul with the other five in north philadelphia. there's good news for a cat that endured abuse at the hands of a 28-year-old philadelphia woman. lumpy the cat had chemical burns and was weak. look at this, now the cat is healthy and playful at the spca. employees say he is ready for a good home. there's a financial boost for amtrak thanks to vice president joe biden, yesterday he announced at the wilmington train station that the federal government is giving a 2 billion-dollar loan to amtrak to modernize the rail service

dwyane wade is denouncing the shooting death of his cousin. the 32-year-old was an innocent victim shot in the head while she was push ago stroller in chicago. she was on her way to register her kid for school. police say the shooters were aiming for a man, but hit her in the head instead. on twitter overnight, wade who is from chicago and plays for the bulls called the death senseless, he said four kids lost their mom for no reason, #, enough is enough. his mom is a pastor. >> we'll try to help these people to transform their minds and give them a different direction so this scene won't keep happening. >> heartbreaking news to hear for the family. his mother lost another child to

hit-and-run in egg harbor township. two vehicles may have struck the victim before taking off. the unidentified person was hit around 1:30. both directions of black horse pike were closed during the crash investigation. police are working to get a description of the vehicle or vehicles involved. new though,, two people managed to escape this right here, this burning home in east brandywine township chester county. crews arrived to flames on the 100 block of ridge wood circle after 11:00 p.m. whilele residents escaped without injuries there is nothing left of the home. ment cause is under investigation. it is now 7:33. happening tonight there will be a vigil for the young camden girl who you see here. she was killed after getting caught in the crossfire. 8-year-old gabriel carter was shot in the head while playing on a porch in camden. she died from her injuries yesterday. her father thank supporters for all their prayers.

here's health reporter and registered nurse ali gorman. >> reporter: 23-year-old corey is back in her happy place cooking in the kitchen. thanks to a special harness that allows her to move in all directions without the fear of falling. 6 years ago when corey was in high school she was struck in a horrible car accident. her mother said among other injuries corey suffered a severe brain injury. >> she was unable to do anything, no speech no movement, nothing. >> she spent months in the hospital and years doing rehabilitation. recently she joined the university of delaware, go baby go program designed to help killed and adults with special needs. corey started in the cafe with the first harness. the goal was to improve mobility and social skills. outside of a traditional therapy
