out in the mid 80s. reading, 75. allentown, 75. poconos 71. the wider picture on at -- satellite and radar, that's the heat-pump high, the bermuda high off the coast of the carolinas. all these systems out west cannot penetrate the high and go up and around. it means clear conditions today and tomorrow and a lot of heat. sunshine and clouds from time to time, less humid it will feel like 92 degrees. now, that's not the case in the entire seven-day forecast. we have more heat and humidity to talk about, i'll have the details in about ten minutes. gray? >> new on "action news," overnight police in south jersey are looking for the possibly two drivers in a deadly hit-and-run. the victim was not identified. that person was instruct on the black horse pike in egg harbor township. the person was plowed into by at least one vehicle crossing the

road at 1:30 a.m. investigators are working to get a description of the vehicle or vehicles involved in this. also new, flames sent two people scrambling from a chester county home. you see the scene there, firefighters could not stop the fire from destroying that house in east brandywine township. the call to the 100 block of ridge wood circle came in just after 11:00 p.m. we are told that everyone got out safely. the cause of the fire is under investigation. a victimle -- vigil is set for tonight for a young camden girl who was shot playing on the porch. 8-year-old gabriel carter died from her injuries yesterday. her father thanked supporters for all their prayers. the reward offered leading to the shooter stands at $12,000. officers have flooded the streets looking for evidence and handing out flyers. right now what they need is help from the public. >> we're hoping to get

additional information from the community. >> gabriel was shot during a gun battle at 8th and cherry streets. this morning a man is behind bars accused of brutally killing his own parents in west deptford, new jersey. the community is coming to terms with the shocking crime. jeff chirico has the story. >> reporter: this is ed and rose marie coles victim of their own son's murderous rampage inside the family home on pen field drive. police spent the day processing evidence as neighbors recall their recent interactions with the man accused of murder. >> he seemed detached, a little depressed, we don't know that, the impression i had was like, he was a little bit off. >> sources say ryan coles may have been used a chair to beat his parents to death. a relative discovered them.

murder charges in the deaths of two mississippi nuns. police say 46-year-old rodney earl sanders, this man right here was developed as a person of interest early on in the investigation. the bodies of paula merely and margaret held were found thursday after they failed to show up for work. the two will be remembered at a mass that will happen tomorrow. police will not release a motive, but say there are signs of a break-in at the house. no word on why the fbi is looking at documents from mayor kenny's campaign office. fbi robbed the -- raided the office of john dougherty and keenan. the mayor said the subpoena was served shortly after the fbi raids targeting dougherty and keenan. a south philadelphia man is

recovering after being shocked by exposed wires on a city street. >> reporter: this is 27-year-old mike smith of south philadelphia. he said on wednesday night he was jogging around the neighborhood working out when he arrived at this traffic light pole at 20th and oregon. >> i had my ankle weights on i leaned up against the pole. i tried to relax and stretch on the pole. >> reporter: he said suddenly he got the shock of his life. >> i felt like somebody punched me in the back of the head i seen stars. >> reporter: paramedics took him to penn presbyterian hospital where he was treated for electric shock. he learned he came in contact with exposed wires at the bottomful -- of the pole. who did you call.

more humid as the winds begin to shift in a southerly direction high of 82. ocean temperatures range between 68 degrees and 72. there's a moderate risk for rip currents today tomorrow and monday. the reason for that is this guy right here, tropical storm gaston which is approximately 1200 miles out to sea. there's bermuda, this thing is well away from the u.s. mainland. what's happening it is generating huge swells propagate propagating out ward from the center and we have rip currents from new england, jersey shore, delaware beaches and the carolinas and virginias. pay attention to the lifeguards if you're venturing into the waters. 92 degrees today feeling like 92. humidity is fairly low. tomorrow, 09, it will feel like 92 because the humidity

a state funeral is being held for some of the victims. nba star dwyane wade is talking about a personal loss. his cousin was shot and killed while pushing a stroller. she was the innocent victim of a bullet intended for another man hitting her in the head. she had just finished registering her kids for school when she was killed. his mom spoke out against the violence. >> we're still going to try to help these people to transform their minds and give them a different direction so this scene won't keep happening. >> heartbreaking. she lost another child to gun violence before this. before that shooting wade spoke at an event on gun violence in

in hardware happy place. 6 years when corey was in high school applying to culinary school she was struck in a horrible car accident. her mother said among other injuries, corey suffered a severe brain injury. she was unable to do anything. no speech, no movement, nothing. >> reporter: she spent months in the hospital, years of rehabilitation. recently she joined the university of delaware go baby go program. it has several research projects designed to help kids and adults with special needs. corey started in the cafe with her first harness. the goal was to improve mobility and social skills outside of a traditional therapy setting. >> having harness is better than having it in a safe environment. >> reporter: she could walk

this happened around 12:30 a.m. on cheltenham avenue near knox street. police say the suspect cornered the 19-year-old on his bike, took $200 before shooting the teenager in the leg. no arrests have been made. but thursday say the shootings -- but police say the shooting was caught on surveillance cameras. new video this morning captures a robbery at a septa station, the man pulls a gun from a backpack and demands the woman give up her purse. it's a frightening video. it happened on the westbound flat form. market frankford line girard station. take a look at the screen, balls police say if you know the man or have any tips they want you to give septa police a call. philadelphia police have succeeded in a mission to help a charity get its stolen bike back. officers recovered a stolen u-haul that stole bikes and bike parts belonging to the wounded

surrounding suburbs will be in the 80s. it will only be a heat wave for the city nobody else else. monday, same thing, it drops us down to 89. accuweather is going 92. surrounding suburbs staying in the mid to upper 980s. 80s. tropical satellite shows north of cuba, flare up of showers and thunderstorms on the eastern side of the low away from the cluster of thunderstorms that has developed. that's good news in the sense in order to get this storm to strengthen those thunderstorms have to wrap around the center of circulation, if that doesn't happen it will remain an disorganized mess. it is drifting towards the west it is getting closer to the gulf of mexico. if it moves into the gulf, we have to watch it, balls water temperatures are in the -- because water temperatures are in the 90s it's an environment for rapid development.
