power outages, storm surges, flooding, heavy rain and limbs. the shoreline is under a tropical storm warning at this hour. friday night. i'm rick williams and the big story on "action news" is hermine that is forming as a hurricane off the jersey coast. that's coming up in a moment. thank you for staying with us, we had problems forcing us to come on a bit late. our computer crashed, quite

frankly. happened on live television. thank you for staying with us. we go on to the weather. on the left, the current location in the carolinas and the outer banks at this hour. dann cuellar is at the jersey shore with people hoping to salvage their labor day weekend. let's go to meteorologist adam joseph following hermine's every movement up the coast. >> a slow is movement for the upcoming weekend with a tropical storm warning in effect for the entire shoreline of new jersey. the ocean side, the bay side, the delaware bay as well as new jersey, the coast and the delaware beaches. this is where you will experience tropical storm conditions, winds in excess of 40 miles an hour for a day or two, which will create power outages in southern new jersey and delaware. the double scan, hermine still a tropical storm, winds 50 miles an hour. it is now in north carolina.

you can see the heavy bands of rain now pivoting on the east side here as far north as southern virginia. this is the very latest track from the national hurricane center. it will be over the water as we get into late tomorrow morning and the afternoon. it strengthens off the coast monday and to the north and east tuesday and wednesday. you can see the left hand hook here does a loopty loop off the coastline. this is the closest the track has been to the coast, since we have been tracking tropical storm hermine. it will be a hurricane. at this point, the national weather service closing in closer to the coast than it ever has been. high pressure, this is the problem blocking to the north acts as a wall. hermine cannot be kicked out to sea. it stalls off the coast. it throws a tremendous amount of water off hermine off the shore. we are looking at 48 hours plus at the shore saturday through monday of heavy surf.

it brought rough surf to parts of georgia. "action news" will have continuing coverage on air and online throughout the weekend. as for me, approaches, "action news" anchor, greg and chris will have the saturday morning updates starting at 5:30 tomorrow morning. unbelievable scene in northeast philadelphia as a car crashes through a fence, flies over a swimming pool and takes out a deck. amazing that no one was hurt. the pick-up truck hit her car, causing her to lose control on the 10,000 block of jamison road. a tow truck pulled the car out several moments later over the pool. the deck, as you saw. clean up crews stepped in. two men stormed into a bar. surveilness cameras captured the ordeal. philadelphia police say it happened at 11:30 last night at the bar on east shelton avenue

in germantown. no one was hurt. 2016 and donald trump trying to make sense with minority communities. today, he was in philadelphia, tomorrow he'll be in detroit. the republican nominee sat down with a dozen african-american supporters in north philadelphia. they praised him for coming to quote, the hood. some protesters went to the round table as a self-serving photo-op. in an interview, trump said african-americans have nothing to lose by voting for change. >> it's the same old thing. it's been run by democrats 50 years. over 100 years, these areas. somebody like hillary clinton will do nothing for african-americans. she will take the vote and say see you in four years.

>> reporter: trump says police need to continue stop and frisk. the philadelphia policy only benefits criminals. he also says planning a tour of the city and suburbs over the next two weeks. meanwhile, hillary clinton is under scrutiny once again tonight for the private e-mail server she used while secretary of state. the fbi released detailed notes from the investigation when agents interviewed clinton in july. they reveal she never sought permission to use private e-mail or the server. she told the fbi she relied on the staff not to send e-mails containing classified information to the account. dozens of e-mails did end up there including sensitive drone strikes. the documents details one exchange in which clinton is asked about an e-mail marked with the letter "c." she didn't know it stood for classified. the fbi recommended that clinton not be charged. still to come on "action
