"good morning america" weekend will have more on the coverages of 9/11 and join us for more coverage on "action news" at 9:00 p.m. developing this morning, gunfire at a gas station in trenton, has killed two people. police and medicine i think -- medics were called out to the shell station. they found one victim in front of the station and another nearby, both were pronounced dead. trenton police are investigating. a driver smashed into several parked cars in northeast philadelphia. the action cam was on the scene where car parts littered the scene. police say the woman lost control of the vehicle and hit five parked cars. police are investigating, but there's no word on any charges. 7:06. now to vote 2016.

although we're beginning to see a couple of sprinkles in eastern portion of berks county and east of fleetwood. bally and boyertown a couple of spritzes and sprinkles. we'll see showers push west to east over the next hour or two. as the front slides eastbound. we are in desperate need of rain, over the past 3 weeks philadelphia reported a half inch of rain that's well below seasonal averages. the last time we picked up an inch or more in a storm you have to go back to july 25th. usual usually we the get the afternoon thunderstorms they hit and we see an inch or two, we have not seen that in the last couple of days. the grass is getting brown and the air is getting drier and drier. we need rain around here, i don't see any in the foreseeable

september 11, themes like this are playing out across the nation as we remember and honor those who died 15 years ago. accuweather says relief is coming, the heat wave is about to end. glitz, glamour and scholarships, tonight the miss america pageant will crown it's new winner. you can watch it live on 6abc. outside we go to meteorologist chris sowers and the accuweather forecast. relief on the way. >> reporter: heading this way. it's starting to feel already, the breezes are picking up, the humidity is high, the temperature are warm, at least we're picking up a breeze now. it feels a little bit better. let's start out down the shore, avalon, 76 degrees, ocean city and margate, 77. maybe football is not your cup of tea on this football sunday,

or miserable category. millville, 75. this is the leading edge. you see how the colors are beginning to change, that's the leading edge of the cooler air that will push the humidity out to sea later this afternoon. it may feel uncomfortable right now, if you're making your way to lincoln financial field in the next couple of hours, cruel notice the change with the refreshing breezes out of the northwest and the humidity dropping off. there's the front pushing through central pennsylvania. a better angle shows up on the water vapor image. that's dry canadian air that's pushing east knocking all the humidity out to sea. future tracker 6 suggesting one or two areas with the passage. front could see a brief quick-hitting shower. is if you pick up the shower it may last 10 or 15 minutes. we'll go from clouds to sun breezy and cooler behind the front. tomorrow it's picture perfect.
