get ready to take the stage for their big night. first the exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast with meteorologist chris sowers nice day for tailgating, chris. it's beautiful out here, nydia. we've been waiting for this for five days, heat indices up over 100 degrees all of a sudden a cold front comes through this morning and it feels fantastic out here. 81 in allentown. no humidity in the lehigh valley. 80 in reading, 82 in philadelphia. trenton, 80. millville, 86. now the front has not cleared the coast just yet we're seeing somewhat high dewpoints along the shorepoints and let's say cumberland and cape may counties and south jersey and points to the south. everybody else you can see the kale toward the top of the screen, everybody else is doing all right. 54 dewpoint in reading. trenton, 56. 66 in millville. that's considered humid and 75

in cape may that feels pretty lousy, you need another hour or two, the front will clear the coast and everybody gets in on the refreshing air not too much longer. satellite and radar, sun and clouds this afternoon, but it feels nice, the eagles taking on the browns, 1:00 p.m. kickoff at lincoln financial field. we'll call it sunny and clouds, warm, comfortable, temperatures are hanging out in the mid 80s. 83 that's the kickoff temperature. by the 4th quarter 85, 86 degrees. weather headlines this afternoon look like this, turning less humid over the next couple of days. monday is a picture perfect day, i'll give it a perfect ten. monday is cooler and later in the week we have temperatures in the mid to upper 70s. i'll have that in a few minutes.

police say when they got to the scene they found a person dead in front of the station and second his diseased victim nearby. police are trying to figure out a motive. i-95 down near newark, delaware, when a dump truck hit the overpass. the truck hit the over pass in the southbound lanes, police say the truck's bed may have been up at the time of the crash. the truck driver was not hurt, but the person will be charged with inattentive driving. i-95 was closed in that same area when a truck loaded with pennies, overturned. >> the contract covering

musicians of the philadelphia orchestra expires at midnight. the road to a new contract could be rough. there are no races in the first -- raises in the first two years this while they are trying to bring back missions from across the country. tonight miss america 2017 will be crowned on 6abc. 52 young women from across the country will vie for the title in the miss america finale. contestants from washington, tennessee and arkansas and district of columbia have won awards. >> it's a great venue with the parade the day before, it's the iconic buildings it's where it all started. >> last night in atlantic city,

>> presidential candidates are following tradition by taking a break from campaigning on this solemn university. donald trump attended the ceremony at the world trade center. as did clinton. clinton left the ceremony early. the campaign said she was overheated. the statement did not offer details whether she required medical attention, but is feeling better. aerial crews were over miami beach to spray the zika virus. they are using an insecticide that kids ma -- mosquitoes.

philadelphia. trenton, 80. wilmington, 83. look at the warmer numbers down to the southeast. cape may is cooler because you're picking up a bay breeze with the northwesterly breeze coming in strong. everybody else all the way up into the mid 80s. when you factor in the humidity, 88 in millville. 88 in atlantic city. 90 in beach haven. there's where the front sits there. everybody else enjoying a beautiful afternoon. satellite and radar showing a combination of sun and clouds this afternoon. we'll see the front pros on to the southeast. skies will clear within the next hour or two, we should see a lot of sunshine from maybe 2 or 3:00 p.m. on. the wider view shows once the front crosses there's nothing going on. there will set up a nice quiet week here in the delaware and lehigh valleys. the next fronts reinforcing shot of cooler air is right here, it's just getting ready to cross the u.s./canadian line there. as that pushes east it may

trigger a shower or thunderstorm. most of the week will be dry. 07 in chicago, 69 in busy mark. cincinnati, 72. it's been a long time since we've seen of this real estate covered in comfortably cool air. that's the air mass making a beeline towards the delaware and lehigh valleys. sun and clouds at 2 to 3:00 p.m. and it's bright blue skies from that point on. open the windows and allow the drier air to work its way in. tomorrow, there may not be a sick sinkle -- single cloud in the sky. highs in the upper 70s, low 80s. 87 degrees in philadelphia. it wouldn't surprise me if we only top out at 85. millville, 86. same number for trenton, breezy, less humid, 84 in atlantic city.

86 in millville. wilmington, 8380 saturday degrees up in lancaster, breezes out of the northwest gusting anywhere from 15 to 25 miles per hour. ten miles at the airport in philadelphia. 16 in millville. 20 miles per hour in wilmington, 17 in atlantic the northwest the humidity levels continue to drop off, the breezes continue throughout the afternoon. eventually whatever cloud cover you're seeing that should break for sunshine later on. not a bad finish to what's been a pretty nice weekend. 87 degrees that's the forecasted high. i got to be honest i'm not 100% sure we'll reach 87. the temperatures are struggling to get out of the low 80s. so, let's say 85 to 87 that's the range in temperatures. less humid, feeling really, really nice, this will make everybody smile. these are overnight lows

where a driver smashed into several parked cars. police say a woman lost control at 1:30 p.m. it hit five cars nobody was hurt. a 16-year-old boy in delaware is recovering at the hospital after being shot riding a bike. the teenager was on route 273 near the georgetown village apartments at 11:30 p.m. when he was shot in the arms and legs. he managed to ride home and called police. crews rushed him to the hospital in stable condition. the man who tried to assassinate ronald reagan is out of a mental hospital and back home with his mother. a federal judge ruled he is no longer a danger to himself or others. he has to work or volunteer three days a week and continue his psychiatric therapy. he is banned from doing interviews or getting involved in social media. >> airstrikes kill people in syria days ahead of a cease-fire

city, this video has just surfaced, appears to show democratic presidential nominee hillary clinton nearly feigning after leaving the trade center early. the campaign said she was overheated and left 90 minutes into the event. they said she is feeling better. the candidate is heading home to new york, we'll bring you more information as it becomes available. >> we hope she gets the help she needs if she needs any help. the forecast, chris, cooler.

>> reporter: we are getting help. looking outside, there's the view in cape may, showing the flag blowing in the wind. the front has not cleared the coast just yet. the folks on the beach have to deal with the muggies. give it another hour and a half you will notice the change before the day is through. the front came through dry, no measurable precipitation. 85 is the high, the normal is 80. the low temperature this morning was close to the normal high. 78. quakertown, 78. warrington, 79. center city, 82. low to mid 80s south and east. vineland, gandys beach, 85. woodbine, 86. surf city and hammonton, 85 degrees, we're dealing with high humidity levels across atlantic, cape may and cumberland counties.

that should change shortly. the dewpoints the rest of the way, the rest of the week looks really, really good. monday, 515. 51 not even on the scale. tuesday, barely humid. not too bad. thursday, the cold front moves in here, dewpoint, 43. this is the water vapor shot clear image showing the canadian air off to the northwest. with a progressive pattern you start to see the cold front attack 9 united states from the northwest. here's the first one here, there's the second one, the air behind the second front is a lot colder, i should cooler, but not colder. but it was cold enough for snow in the rockies a few days ago. in the summer months, you get these areas of high pressure. because the jet stream is not strong enough, the highs get

stuck, the winds blow in a clockwise fashion around the high, all this is heat across the deep south, georgia florida, south carolina it's all humid. this is forced upward and gets stuck off the coast. in a progressive pattern we get the high pressure systems that drop down from the northwest instead of getting stuck they keep on going, that means one front after the next keeps pushing through the northern teerp -- tier states bringing cooler air. that's the pattern we are getting into it. there's a day in the 90s, after wednesday that may be all she wrote for the 90s. jersey shore, cloudy, sun expected later on, breezy, high ever 84. philadelphia, clouds and sun, less humid, winds out of the north, northwest at 10 to 20 miles per hour.
