and free college. download our app for updates on the campaign. now, to an update from the delaware newsroom. police blame a wrong way driver for a deadly crash on route 1, a 77-year-old man in a chevy was driving north in the southbound lanes and collided head-on with a state police cruiser. it hatched near exit 98 in dover. the trooper is recovering in the hospital and the other driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was killed along with his dog. police are not yet releasing his name. a car hit a person riding a bike in upper moreland, the victim was struck along the 700 block, sometime before 8:00 a.m. the person was taken to abington hospital and police are investigating how the crash

fiat chrysler issues a recall for 1.3 million vehicles. it's blamed for three deaths and nine injuries. they say it's a potentially flawed computer. some dodge and jeep vehicles are affected by the recall. but the auto maker is still working to finalize a fix. customers will be notified when they should schedule a repair.
