between each other and a zinger or two and who won and did not score points outside their base, was there any movement outside of the people that they already have support from they are trying to garner that because polls show them neck and neck in a dead heat literally one or two percentage points away from each other and let's here what donald trump and hillary clinton each had to say. >> donald supported the invasion of iraq wrong, that is absolutely proved over and over again. >> wrong. >> he actually advocated for actions we took in libya. you called it the gold standard of trade deals and said it's the finest deal you have ever seen. >> no. >> then you heard what i said about it and all of a sudden you were against it. >> donald you live in your own reality but that is not the facts. >> a high stakes debate to be sure with possibly 100 million viewers watching and we will know that number by tomorrow but as much as the superbowl and clearly attempt by both of them to expand on her end to try to

get millennials and white collar men who need jobs on his end to convince women and minorities did they convince anybody they had not already got on their side. >> well i don't know that who they convinced or did not convince and figure that going forward and what was critically important is going into this debate donald trump had momentum and i think hillary clinton clearly stopped that momentum today, i think she was after the first 20 minutes or so when i thought he was effective talking about trade deals and those things she kind of took over substantively and i think she controlled the debate from that point on as he was really being responsive to her in a lot of his comments became personal to him. my business did this, and i think he made mistakes with respect to the tax questions he didn't respond to them so but i think hillary clinton stopped the momentum that donald trump had built up over the last week to ten days and think she looked more presidential. >> any knock out punches she did not really play into the e-mail

issue and just apologized and appeared to move on and he didn't jump on that were you surprised he didn't do much of that? >> surprised and where i was seated i thought that was a big opener and will be interested to see how did the challenge go forward income taxes versus the e-mail i thought that was well rehearsed by trump and didn't see much from her but i thought that is something i would have prosecuted from his side. they did bring up lots of topics, i.s.i.s., iraq plenty of things and called her a career politician and 30 years worth and what have you done in the time and she said if you are a business man we should talk and see the documents. >> that is the hardest problem she has that monica that he has baggage and not the acumen and hillary clinton won on that but she has baggage of being in office and she is protecting president obama's third term that is a lot to protect to me. >> brian there were also visuals weren't there she is coming out of crossing center stage if you will to shake his hand on his side of the dias. >> i don't know if i was so

excited about it and expecting -- it was a little boring at times, thought it dragged a little bit and lester holt got pushed around and thought lester jump in and all and all and here coming across shows the preparing and donald trump kept saying i'm not preparing and you could kind of see that and i thought there were some key moments and at the end you just felt like i don't think a lot of people changed their opinions, i think this was a not a knock out but points but in the end give her the edge and not saying she swayed a lot of people but in the middle it's more to her. >> the question mark had been at least in part who has the temperment to be the commander in chief and sit in the white house with international politics at by did she look and acted acted like he had the decorum? >> he did not look presidential at all and fascinated when he was challenged by holt as

hillary's appearance of this he would not answer the question so both in substance and from an appearance standpoint his temperment was very clearly erratic and i got feeling that she prepared for a presidential debate, he prepared for a high school presidency debate and he would have lost that debate. >> on the birther issue also she seemed to punch pretty hard repeatedly on that issue, did you feel like his response answered that question for you? >> i thought he was disrespectful to president obama with what he said to say and i think that will hurt him. can't get much more hurt in the african/american community than he already is but the notion that somehow this was a victory for him i got him to produce the birth certificate but for five years i continue and he said it on television a couple weeks ago and almost said it again tonight that what you tend to believe is that the birth certificate is out there he still doesn't believe it he said i moved on because i want to getn
