north an low to mid 60s off to the southeast. millville, 62. we're showing 58. allen town, most of the lehigh valley mid 50s, the poconos still in the upper 40s this morning. satellite and radar, we have this little line that's starting to develop here, showers and embedded downpours a couple of thunderstorms off to the south across the virginia capes and the outer banks of the carolinas, all this lifting to the north. just like yesterday at times, we'll see a passing shower, otherwise it's cloudy and damp and drizzle and mist. there's the line getting it's act together all rotating around this upper leveling low right here -- level low right here, north of cincinnati. the cut off low is sitting and spinning and waiting for something to pick it up and push it along its way. it will happen in the early part of the next week. we'll break this pattern and get into a little bit of sunshine. future tracker 6 no sun today. cloudy skies, afternoon showers

time to look at the water vapor image. there's matthew clearly defined to the northwest aruba. up this trough right here which that is brought miserable weather. you can see the clouds down here, the trough will help to lift matthew to the north. just like that. this high will become the main player later this week. this will during the time if it becomes an east coast threat or works out to sea. all the forecast models agree that matthew will come just to the west of windward passage right there. it will situate itself over the bahama islands. monday or tuesday of next week. the atlantic ridge is right here. if the high is far enough out to sea it will allow matthew to escape. it will be a storm that produces large swells and coastal

flooding and possibility of beach erosion. if the high is closer, let's suppose the high is out here, which some forecast models have it closer to the coast, then all of a sudden matthew does one of these jobs just like irene a few years ago and parallel the eastern seaboard and make landfall in north carolina and go up into new england. these are the scenarios that are out there right now and what we have to watch closely. the question is matthew an east coast threat and if so, where will it hit and the impact be? we'll watch it over the neck few days. >> in sports, the sixers lose a key young player to injury. this time it's benefit -- ben simmons. >> reporter: what a bad break, sixers season took an unlucky turn, ben simmons broke a bone

estimates. since wednesday afternoon look what happened in sussex and southern kent counties in delaware. close to a foot of rain has fallen. new castle county delaware, good 2 to 5 inches in the delaware bay communities. cape may, wildwood, cape may, 5 inches of rain 1 to 2 for the city of philadelphia. we were in a deficit going into this week now some areas are well above in a surplus now, thanks to all the rain. it kept the temperatures at bay, monday's high, 70 degrees. tuesday a little spike up to 75. and then we got the clouds in here, the rain and drizzle. temperatures were heads down, thursday, 65. yesterday, 63 degrees in the city of philadelphia. 54 in allentown. 58 in philadelphia.
