4:04 am
>> i will look at it at the time. i'm not looking at anything now. >> are you saying you're not prepared now to -- >> what i'm saying, i will tell you at the time. i'll keep you in suspense. >> well, chris, let me respond that because that's horrifying. >> reporter: trump accused clinton of conspiring with the media against him. >> she shouldn't be allowed to run -- it's crook -- she's guilty of a very, very serious crime. she should not be allowed to run and just in that respect i say it's rigged. >> reporter: clinton suggested trump is just a sore loser by nature. >> there was even a time when he didn't get an emmy for his tv program three years in a row and he started tweeting that the emmys were rigged again. >> should have gotten it. >> this is a mind-set. this is how donald thinks. and it's funny but it's also really troubling. >> reporter: david wright, abc

now. >> reporter: well, it mans man but the way trump used the word and being called by many could be interpreted as offensive or derogatory and we're hearing from latinos would say they were disgusted by trump using the word and as you mentioned overnight that lit up social media becoming one of the most talked about moments from last night's debate, kendis and diane. >> all right, and they are scheduled to appear at an event again together. but no debate happening there. hopefully they will keep the peace. maggie rulli, live in washington. >> that event in new york city tonight, meant to last. after the debate clinton said she was relieved and very grateful. >> before heading back to new york she made a surprise appearance at a post-debate watch party joined by her husband and 5,000 supporters cheering her on. >> we are a better country than donald trump is.
4:07 am
there are so many, so many things he says, does that i do not believe, that i think are wrong, and i try to stand up against those today. >> clinton's campaign is also calling trump's performance erratic saying he's a bad loser and didn't respect the democratic process. >> before he landed in ohio, trump took to twitter describing the debate as exciting. he said he made all of his points and declared himself the winner. >> i didn't hear much new from her today. i saw a lot of defense and i think tonight what donald trump proved, tom s. that not all experience is good experience. if you've been there for 30 years and yet you had millions in poverty and millions with no health insurance and is so much unfinished business. >> she also went on to tell our tom llamas that donald trump will accept the results of the election because he's going to win. >> according to polls trump did need a boost last night. the big question is did he get

it? >> abc news political director rick klein tells us how the nominees stacked up. rick, good morning. >> reporter: diane and kendis, donald trump needed a big moment and he got it. just the wrong kind of moment for the campaign turnaround he needs right now. a singular moment in the debate history when he said he would not necessarily respect the election results even his own campaign supporters are questioning that very aggressively. all in all, hillary clinton prosecuted the case against donald trump. needling him, productling him much like the first debate and walking away with a more and concise victory. able to make that case and leave him in a flustered position when trying to explain his past comments and trying to explain his policy positions but it seemed like a debate in an election already kind of over. both candidates weary of each other and donald trump walking away without the game changer.
4:09 am
>> twitter and facebook feeds were completely filled with debate moments. >> yeah, the moment that received the most tweets when trump discussed his treatment of women. the top moment discussed on facebook when trump and moderator chris wallace clashed on trump's statements on aleppo. >> according to google the most searched question during the ambassador what is roe versus wa wa wade? virgin american flight. nearly every passenger with the debate on their screen. e straggler. >> one straggler there. the caption there, democra
