city at 11th and market. the victims age, 22 and 27 were rushed to hanheman hospital in critical condition. the driver of the white pickup truck does stop at the scene. police took the driver into custody. no word of charges. police are working hard to track down the person who fired shots outside a banquet hall in south jersey overnight. two men were injured in the shooting. the action cam at the regal bang quit hall route 73 pennsauken, camden county an argument inside the hall spilled into the parking lot at 2:15 a.m. someone started shooting hitting a man in the chest. another man was shot in the arm. a third person was found unconscious at the scene. no word on their condition or the cause of that injury. police have not said if anyone has been arrested. villanova university and radnor police are investigating a racially motivated attack on a

student. a university source said thursday night, a black student was assaulted in a septa tunnel that connects two sections of the universitiment -- the white suspect ran toward her shouting trump and knocked her to the ground and hit her in the head. they are described as a member of the villanova community. villanova statement says in part the university finds this conduct deplorable and considers this racist behavior that runs completely counter to our values. those found responsible for rep rep -- reppible behavior will be disciplined. organization is scheduled to make statements about the incident gays black rays --

they walked arm in arm as they protested the donald trump's election to the presidency. flash mobs targeted group in center city. attacked people on the 1600 block of walnut street around 6:00 p.m. a shopper said he feared for his safety when the large group appeared from nowhere. he said people ran into the store to escape the chaos. >> crazy out here, i don't know if they started as a protest or what this did was flash mobbing, it was not the right way to do it, whatever it was. >> we were told an officer had minor injuries. five others hurt received minor injuries. police took at least one person into custody. a standoff in bucks county lasted 8 hours, it came to a peaceful end but not before shots were fired by the man who was holing police at bay. gentleman jet reyes has --

jennette reyes has the details. >> we saw cops coming down the street. >> reporter: neighbors along hulmeville road spent hours on the front yard watching police and swat as they responded to a barricade situation down the street. >> i got scared, i thought there was a bomb scare because i saw the big trucks pulling in. >> reporter: middletown township police received a call from an ex-wife or girl friend. she was concerned after she received text messages saying he was going to hurt himself. >> because of the situation they decided was best to contain the scene and call swat officers in. he may have fired a couple of shots from the shotgun out in the direction of officers stationed behind the home. >> reporter: that's when police

dramatically changed their approach. >> once he fired the shots, originally we told the residents to stay in their home, on the ground floors lower, once the shots were fired, we evacuated the immediate homes surrounding him. >> reporter: tense negotiations continued through text massaging but were not successful. the suspect fell silent for two hours, police worried he harmed himself. >> we hit every floor with tear gas, that didn't get him out of the house. after that we sent in a robot with a camera on it. >> reporter: that's when the s.w.a.t team supered the home and -- entered the home and found the suspect. >> he was found on the second floor rolled up in carpet. >> reporter: police say they were not called out to the home in the past for incidents, and there's no documented history of mental illness. reporting in middletown township, gentleman knelt reyes, channel 6 "action news." >> important information to

took off that's when the police chased him. the suspect ran into a car so hard both vehicles went a quarter mile down the road. the suspect is facing numerous charges. >> this morning a philadelphia police officer is on administrative leave after he shot a suspect following a traffic stop and chase in olney. a minivan was pulled over, the 20-year-old suspect got out of vehicle and ran offment officers caught up to him after the chase. that's when the suspect allegedly turned around and pointed a gun at them. shots were fired. the suspect was shot and taken to einstein hospital in critical, but stable condition. an old city hotel was the scene of an attempted robbery. a new york times columnist said he was staying with his wife at the hotel. he left the room to get coffee. when he returned a man was inside holing his wife's yourself -- holding his wife's purse with his wife sleeping

the southern branch has become a little more active. we have high pressure through here, that means it's very clear, very calm, very tranquil. here's the coastal storm that will run up the east coast in the next 24, 36 hours. the good news it's not picking up any energy from the northern branch. it's a weak storm and it will do nothing more than bring us rain monday night into tuesday morning, perhaps a half inch this is not a colossal size storm. future tracker 6, 4:00 p.m., mostly sunny skies, overnight tonight, it's clear and cold again. temperatures in the 30s and upper 0s in the lehigh valley and the poconos. we get into monday, the clouds increase. monday evening after the commute, some of the wet weather starts to roll on in, this will linger into tuesday morning. some of the heavier stuff before eventually winding down by afternoon. the morning looks rather wet periods of rain some of it steady. by afternoon it's cloudy and

when we check out the exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast that's coming up in just a bit. >> thank you, this morning 8 people are out of their homes after fire ripped through two houses in wilmington. firefighters were called to the 6 hup block of north -- 600 block of north franklin street at 5:00 a.m. when they arrived they found flames shooting from two units. fire officials are trying to figure out what sparked the blaze. happening right now, two women are fighting to stay alive after they were hit by a truck trying to cross the street in center city. the women were hit at 11th and market the victims ages 22 and 27 were rushed to hanheman hospital listed in critical condition. the driver of a white dodge pickup that hit them. he did stop at the scene. police took him into custody. no word on charges. happening now, police are working hard to track down the person who fired shots outside a banquet hall. this happened in south jersey overnight. we know that two men were injured in the shooting.

the action cam at the scene at the regal banquet hall on the 1400 block of route 73 pennsauken camden county. an argument went out into the parking lot. someone started shooting, a a man was shot in the chest and another in the arm. a third person was found unconscious at the scene. police have not said if they made any arrests. villanova and radnor police are investigating a racially motivated attack on a student. university source said thursday night a black student was assaulted in a septa tunnel that connects two sections of the university. the white suspect ran toward her first shouting trump and knocked her to the ground causing her to hit her held. hit her head. the men have not been identified, but are members of the school community.
