won't be so lucky. the philadelphia marathon starts in an hour we will be there. you can check storm tracker 6 live radar at 6abc.com/weather. new this morning, the wind fanned a fire that ripped through a home in chester county days before thanksgiving. the father and three children noticed the flames as they opened the front door of the home. they were arriving back from a night out around midnight and called 911 immediately. unfortunately, firefighters could not stop the fire from ravaging the house. the search is on for the cause of the blaze. new this morning, the action cam was at the firehouse at chestnut and north 55th street, a critically wounded man banged on the door to get help after being shot in the chest. medics took him to penn presbyterian hospital. he was shot walking down 5th street south of market. there are no arrests.

a mother and father are talking about the hit-and-run that took their 8-year-old daughter. this morning the driver responsible is out there on the run. the young victim has been identified as sa powell. police believe the car that hit her was a gray nissan or maxima. >> my baby fought hard and her heart stopped. >> i kept on talking to her, and beg her to hold on, hold on, baby, daddy's here, mommy is here, please hold on. >> those heartbroken parents urging anyone with information to come forward and call police. >> new jersey governor chris christie is planning to meet

morning, a man is in critical condition after getting shot in the back on a north philadelphia street. the action cam on the 200 block of west cornwall street. the man was shot during what police say was an attempted robbery. he is being treated at temperature hospital. police have not sated if they have suspects. philadelphia police are looking for a person who shot a man on the street corner. the 33-year-old victim was hit three times in the stomach at bridge and hawt -- hawthorne. he is in critical condition. police are looking for the person who beat up a man at a casino parking lot in bensalem. officers got the call at 3:45 a.m. that a man was lying in the parking lot. when they got there they found the victim suffering from several injuries. else in stable condition at the

the snow showers that fell north and west, that was a front that moved through, a really powerful front. what we're seeing on the radar is the little bands that wrap around. that's lake-effect snowshowers, we don't expect that to come to philadelphia. maybe a flurry in philadelphia. the best chance to see a flurry would be north and west in the lehigh valley. lake-effect snow isn't like a storm system. you can expect it here and there, with the winds gusts and you get the moisture off that. future tracker 6, the best chance of a snow shower would be in the poconos. today at 11:30 a.m., you'll get a snow shower or sprinkle or touch of sleet in the i-95 corridor. the rest of the south jersey and delaware stay dry. you may get lake effect snow flurry or snow shower north and west of the city. basically it's a dry day, lots of clouds, temperatures in the
