temperatures and now feeling a lot like christmas with days before thanksgiving. melissa has a look at the forecast. >> walter, we had a reality check closing out the weekend sunday. yesterday we had a high of 72. today in philadelphia we maxed out at 44. it's 28-degrees colder today than yesterday here in the city. part of the problem, we had blustery winds today. the wind advisory until 6:00 a.m. monday, gusting 40 to 45 miles per hour across delaware and lehigh valley. still blustery at this 11:00 hour. we have gists as high as 43 in the poconos, 39 in last cannest and 23 miles per hour in beach haven. here's the culprit, showing you an area of low pressure to the

channel6. >> thank you, jeanette. >> a large tree fell on henry avenue today on top of two cars. it crushed a parked car and landing oen a moving vehicle trapping a 74-year-old woman inside. neighbors called 911. firefighters rushed to the scene and worked quickly to free the woman. people were saying, we can hear her so we know she's alive. that's before the firefighters saw her. people didn't know how to react. they were in tears, so shocked. >> the woman was rushed to einstein medical center in stable condition. we are told she's going to be okay. >> the following breaking news out of five point points. a woman was rescued an hour ago on the 400 block of marianne

that saw it happened. >> the upland mayor hit two parked cars and tried to make a run for it even after a resident tried to get him to stay on scene. >> he was trying to get out of his car. i was like sir, is that your car? he said i'll be right back. >> she said the conversation was brief and she had no idea that the man that allegedly hit her father's suv was the upland mayor. >> residents say it happened just after 3:30 friday morning. that's when police consider called to the unit block of sex 22n22ingnd street. he was found walking near the crash. the 53-year-old was struggling to stand straight.

man that shot an officer in san antonio texas. the officer was writing a ticket to a driver when another driver pulled up behind him. that man got out, walked up to the officer and shot him in the head. the officer was benjamin marconi who was 20 years on the force. donald trump met with potential candidates for his cabinet. among them chris christy, former mayor rudy giuliani was also there. he is said to be on the short list for secretary of state. mitt romney is also said to be a contender for secretary of state. trump confirmed that his wife and youngest son will not move to the white house right away.
