a serious wound. >> it's thursday night. jim gardner is off. i'm charry williams. there was a accidental shooting by a four-year-old child shooting a two-year-old play mate. bob? >> charry, good evening. we are hearing that the child has been removed from temple hospital transported to st. christophers. we are hearing from detectives that the child will pull through and be okay. >> how did the kids four and two years old gain access to a .40 caliber gun. that's the question trying to be found out tonight as the family spends the night at the hospital. the two-year-old was shot in the stomach. >> we have reports that the mother was preparing thanksgiving dinner when the two

children were playing with the gun. >> we are told that he like any two-year-old doesn't deserve this. >> it's a family oriented neighborhood. it hurts everybody. >> detectives tell us the four-year-old discharged the gun. it went through the two-year-old's hand and into his stomach. >> the gun, .40 caliber, a large handgun. we found blood and a bullet hole in the first floor living room. >> the only ones home at the time, the two kids, the two-year-old's mom and her boyfriend. they were in the kitchen. the kids were in the living room. >> everyone in the neighborhood is praying for them. a reminder tonight of why guns need to be locked up all the timeall thetimes. it's too early to tell how the
