thing we noticed during the overnight computer run there's more moisture with the system than previously thought. we'll see the clouds increase southwest to northeast. some of this gets in here after midnight tonight. mostly in the form of rain, as you get north of the pennsylvania turnpike, all of a sudden we could see light snow with the system. i'm going to talk about that in ten minutes. in the meantime, 1:00 p.m., 47. combination of sun and clouds, 3:00 p.m., 49. 5:00 p.m., 46, partly sunny, high of 49. gray. >> chris, thank you for the update. if you're just waking up with us, new information for you this morning. a man driving a car going the wrong way on i-95 crashed head on into another car. the action cam at that scene, i-95 near route 476 in ridley township delaware county. the suspect's car was heading south in the northbound lanes at

11:30 p.m. when it smashed into the other car. the suspect jumped out of the car and ran into a wooded area. officers used k-9 units and thermal imaging cameras. they did not find that person. there's no word on the condition of the innocent driver involved in the accident. cranes and dumpster trucks are coming in to help at a warehouse in california. so far we know nine people died in the fire. this morning we're learning about the building where the tragedy unfolded. abc's lauren lister has the story. crews working through the night trying to recover bodies from the wreckage of this horrific friday night warehouse party fire. the risk of collapse slowing down efforts, but overnight police delivering good news. >> we have been able to put

professional -- thorough and professional investigation these families deserve. >> reporter: records show a slew of blight about the buildings. recovering the bodies will be a slow process. that will go into monday, at least. lauren lister, abc news, oakland. in a big reversal, the green party said it will seek a recount in philadelphia. tomorrow the party is taking that fight to federal court. just yesterday, jill stein's campaign said it dropped the recount effort in pennsylvania, but an official with the former president's campaign said it will seek a order because without the order they cannot pay for the process. they want to know if voting machines and systems in pennsylvania were hacked to

alter the final tally. donald trump won pennsylvania by less than 100,000 votes. police are looking for a person who shot a man in the stomach inside a montgomery county home. the action cam at the scene the 1200 block of dekalb pike in norristown. the shooter ran from the home and remains on the run. the victim was critically injured and flown to penn presbyterian hospital. police have not said what led to the shooting. back here a stranger and scary sight played out in center city. no, this is not snow, it's flame retardant foam covering the street outside a peco substation. bob brooks spoke with the people amazed by the sight. >> i saw in our backyard this invasion of the foam monster. >> reporter: from neighbor's balconies, it looked like snow. a board chopper 6 hd we could

see it was spewing out of the substation doors and into juniper street. someplaces the foam would reach 6 to 7 feet tall. it started with an explosion. >> there's a fire alarm going on. i didn't go anything of it. i was chilling in my bed and i heard a huge explosion. >> then all of a sudden what looked like giant soap bubbles came down in front of our house. >> another person caught the schoation on his phone. the phone system was triggered to prevent further damage from inside. the foam filled the entire peco substation. >> there were two holes on the side of the building, it was spewing out. in all 2700 customer also in the area would lose power, but it's been restored. no word from peco why it

happened. once under control piles and piles of flame retardant foam would be pushed into drains. they were so bus pushing the foam getting it into the storm drains, it is not toxic, so it poses no threat to the environment. bob brooks, channel 6 "action news." >> all right, today the eagles game day, later today, the birds take on the cincinnati bangles, of course in the area, everybody is buzzing about two huge wins for local college football teams, temple and penn state today they find out their bowl selection. >> they are riding how owls first football title in half a century, it was a big night for the nittany lions of penn state.

how could not be excited penn state fans in center city celebrated the historic come back victory against wisconsin. it was another giant leap for programs blemished by the jerry sandusky scandal five years ago. they roared back to shock wisconsin it was the biggest come back in the history of the big ten championship. it may throw a wrench into the college football playoff picture, penn state's coach said this college championship is making a case to be included, and fans agree. >> the committee goes by what they said, held to head conference championship we should be in. >> are we going to colten bowl or florida, where -- cotton bowl or florida, where are we going to go? so exceeding.

breezes, yesterday we topped out @ 50, but with the wind it felt colder. 40 degrees in allentown. 38 in millville. 31 in the poconos. 27 in atlantic city and cape may, 43. here's double scan live, this is what we're watching, here's philadelphia right here. basically what's going to happen, a lot of this is going to move like this from west to east, across the carolinas and the virginias. this part right here, this is a small area of low pressure that will skirt on by to the north like this. it will actually run parallel to the pennsylvania turnpike. as that approaches tonight light rain and snow will overspray the area, after midnight. one thing i want to stress this is a very minor system. we're not expecting a lot of rain and we're certainly not

expecting a lot of snow for the areas that will pick up the light snow. future tracker 6, we'll start out with some sunshine and increasing cloudy as the day goes on. the clouds lower and thicken throughout the evening. 3:00 a.m., the light purplish color that's the snow on future tracker. it's north of the pennsylvania turnpike. in the immediate philadelphia area it's all rain. temperatures will be a little bit too mild. 6:00 a.m., north of the turnpike, light wintery mix, snowing in the lehigh valley and the poconos, rain for everybody else. by 9:00 a.m., the tail end of rush hour, this is gone. monday, it's a combination of sun and clouds, giving way to sunshine. monday is not a bad day, just a four or five hour window of light precipitation across the area. overnight tonight light rain developing for just about everybody, it will be light snow for the lehigh valley between the hours of 3 and 8:00 a.m.

massachusetts worked through the night to put out hot spots in an inferno. up to 11 buildings were damaged leaving 60 people homeless. the fire started in a building that was under construction. two police officers and firefighter were hurt in this, their injuries thankfully only minor. investigators are working to figure out what caused the fire. tomorrow is the deadline for protesters to leave the access dakota construction site. thousands of protesters led by the standing rock souix tribe are proposing the pipeline saying it could pollute drinking water and threaten sacred sites. the governor is backing mandatory evacuation of the site, but nobody will be

forcibly removed. >> a man fell inside a home and called 911. he did not know where he was. dispatchers used technology to find his general location and listened for the emergency siren through his phone. once in the right neighborhood police and ems went door to door and finally found the victim. >> the gentleman was in distress, we were going to get help to him no matter where we had to go. >> i heard the knock and a couldn't wait to tell them on the radio that that was them knocking. >> we are glad they found him, and the man is expected to be okay. ordinary tissues left dakota's nose sore and red.

in time as the day wears on, 4:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m., clouds lower and thicken, the moisture begins to break out across the area. 3:00 a.m., you can see how far north the rain snow line is. it's way up here, running through reading. all areas north of the red line will see wintry precipitation out of this, whether it's snow or mixture of snow and rain, sleet pellets in there. mainly in the lehigh valley. the immediate philadelphia area which includes south jersey and delaware, it all rain for you guys. 6:00 a.m., maybe a steady to light rain for the city. and perhaps, a steady to light snow in the lehigh valley. as we continue to fast forward this, we get into 9:00 a.m., most of the moisture is already gone. from that point, it's a combination of sun and clouds. we have a five or six hour window while most of us are
