working through the night at the scene of the intense fire. the bodies of the victims have been pulled from the rubble of the converted warehouse known as the ghost ship. this blaze ignited in oakland during an electronic music party. it is believed 100 were at the party. crews are looking for two dozen people who are unaccounted for this morning. officials say an investigation had already been taking place at this warehouse looking into whether people had been living there illegally. happening right now, the search continues for the suspect police were chasing going the wrong way down i-95 causing a collision with another car. the scene was ridley township, the suspect was heading south in the northbound lanes of i-95 when it smashed into the other car. the suspect then jumped out of the car and ran into a nearby wood wood area. a search with k-9 units and

thermal imaging cameras turned up nothing. there's no word on the other person's injuries. new information to tell you about from the mayfair section of philadelphia. the action cam was on the 4600 block of oakmont street where police say masked gunmen carried out a home invasion. the suspects stole jury and children's toys and ran away. no reports of any injuries. the effort to force a statewide recount of the presidential election may be heading to the federal courts. late last night a green party official said former presidential candidate jill stein plans to seek an emergency federal court order tomorrow. the stein campaign said it is committed in its effort for a recount in pennsylvania, but can't afford to pay for the

costs associated with it. stein wants to know whether or not voting machines and systems in pennsylvania were hacked to alter the final tally. donald trump was the first republican to win pennsylvania since 1988. people in philadelphia will never forget what they saw, they saw foam that filled the streets from a peco substation. the sight was enough to alarm a lot of people. >> saw in the backyard, the invasion of the foam monster. >> the fire ray alarm was going -- fire alarm was going on. i heard a huge explosion. >> then all of a sudden what looked like giant soap bubbles started flowing down in front of our house. >> quiet the sight, some people were calling it the foam

monster. the foam did it job preventing fire in a build from spreading. investigator are looking into what caused this. 9:05 a.m., a big weekend for pennsylvania college football teams. temple and penn state won their championship games. both teams happily hoisted the trophies with their players. both teams will learn where they play. it could be mean a playoff spot for happy valley. how can you not celebrate. there was plenty of celebrating when the trophy was hoisted after last night's triumphant come back win. the historic victory against wisconsin marked another giant leap for the prime minister. the 38-31 win was the biggest come back in the big ten championship. penn state was down three

smith is in the hospital after he fell from a stage during a performance. this video shows him taking a fall friday night at the star land ballroom. he managed to get back up and continue on with the concert. he was standing on a audio monitor that gave way and fell into a metal barricade. he was taken to the hospital where he was treated for two broken ribs and partially collapsed lung. four concerts next week were canceled. first responders and dispatchers in delaware county used training and compassion to save a man's life. a man called 911 from his cell phone after falling inside his home in chester. he was too disoriented to give his exact location. they used technology to find his general area and they listened to the emergency siren from his

home.nside his montgomery >> crews sift through the charred debris of a california warehouse where at least nine people have died. we'll have a live report from the scene. >> we could beea slippery roads for the morning rush as wintry weather moves into parts of our region. winterish, yes? meteorologist chris sowers with the details. >> reporter: slippery meaning wet. if you're way up in the northern lehigh valley and the poconos maybe some of the side roads could get coated with snow. in and around the immediate philadelphia area it's rain. temperatures are too warm. >> but still rain. >> reporter: we've seen a lot of that over the last week or two, unfortunately this week will be full of rain, as well. a beautiful shot this morning looking at the camden waterfront. we have mainly clear conditions and clouds ups yesterday. we'll go partly sunny skies, clouds fighting off the -- sun fighting off the clouds at times. the good news we've lost the gusty breeze.

recovery efforts at the site of the fire. the warehouse is halfway down the block where the party took place. an artist collection that we're learning had a number of safety issues. crews working through the night trying to recover bodies from the wreckage of this horrific friday night warehouse party fire. risk of collapse slowing down efforts. overnight police delivering good news. >> we have been able to put family fears at ease by locating loved ones that were believed to be inside here, that were actually found to be alive. >> reporter: yet with dozens unaccounted for, others who believe their loved ones may have been in the blaze fearing the worst. >> these were beautiful, inspirational awesome, intelligent, creative people, you know with great futures ahead of them. >> officials believe victims became trapped on the second floor, the only way out an

apparent makeshift stairwell constructed with wooden pallets were overtaken by flames. pictures before the fire show a cluttered group of art studios, inside a virtual tinderbox. >> this is a devastating scene and complicated and it will take time to do the thorough professional investigation that these families deserve. >> reporter: and records show complaints for blight and construction were made about the building. investigators say an investigation is underway for safety violations and no sprinklers were found. the recovery of the bodies is slow, authorities say this will go well into monday, at least. life in oakland, lauren lister,

of areas of low pressure both will be making a run towards the delaware and the lehigh valleys, but here's the good news, so here's philadelphia right here, the first one will actually kind of pass on by to the north. the second one will pass on by to the south. so we're kind of in between the two systems, that means whatever moisture that we do pick up overnight tonight into the wee hours of the morning tomorrow will be very, very light. this will not be a big event. increasing clouds today. we're starting out with some sunshine, the clouds lower and thicken throughout the day. cloudy overnight tonight. here comes the moisture after midnight. 3:00 a.m., light snow breaking out for the lehigh valley and the poconos. it's rain for everybody else. temperatures will be mild, well above freezing at this point, at least north or south of the pennsylvania turnpike. you get north temperatures are close to the freezing mark. that's part of the ron why the moisture -- the reason why the moisture switches over to snow.
