also believe there is a fourth person still at large. >> finally one of the police chases involving a performance vehicle. something that actually would give them a bit of a challenge. >> the challenge is that the criminals were running, okay? we start this animal rescue mid action. this is on very thin ice in russia. as you can see right here, one dog is running across the ice. that's because somebody witnessed three dogs fall through that thin ice. they were apparently running around the area and fall in. realized you know what, i got to get in there and do something, so he shoots over on his belly with a branch from the tree to pull the dogs to freedom. loses his grip, but there he goes. dog is out but he's got an injured paw as he hops away.

they say all three dogs were rescued and this guy is being called a hero. >> i have to give it to the people who sat there and recorded it on their phone as a man was risking his life out there. >> these dogs are in a big load of trouble. they have fallen into a construction pit. as you can see right here, ten feet of water at the bottom and they need rescued. that's where blue cross comes into place. they've got some of the trained volunteers scaling down to get the dogs. grabbed one of the pup, first pup in the bag, first is rescued. somebody has to scale down a second time. they grab the second dog. that dog's rescued, but then a third person, this woman, she's scaling down because the third puppy has to be rescued, but the good news is, all of them were rescued, joined up again with mom. three puppies were rescued. >> they have minimal equipment with them, just made it work. >> they are the opposite of these smart rescues. >> either way, they did good.
