the man behind the wheel during last month's last month's deadly school bus crash in tennessee will face a grand jury. police say that 24-year-old johnthony walker was driving 20 miles per hours over the speed limit and using a cell phone while driving but did not specify if he was on the phone during the incident. six children died in the crash and dozens of others were injured. investigators say that traces of explosives were found on the victims of egypt 804 was

on route to cairo when it plunged into the sea and all 66 people on board died. now an official investigation on the way they found evidence that explosives were on board. no one has claimed responsibility for the attack. delaware health officials say that an 87-year-old man is the first fatality of this flu season. he had a number of underlying medical conditions and delaware has 64 confirmed cases. so far flu activity is low and expected to pick up over the holidays, now is the time of course to get vaccinated. >> maybe the a no brainer for you to bundle up. but teens think it's not cool to bundle up even when it can endanger them. parents resist your teen's

this is why you have to cover up and dress in layers if you head outside. satellite 6 along with action radar showing we have a few lake-effect snow flurries here and there with strong winds out of the northwest. the winds are diminishing as high winds build over us and temperatures drop very quickly. 15 degrees is the low in philadelphia and the coldest december morning in eight years, allentown down to 10 and lancaster 12 and cape may 20 and trenton 14 degrees, the winds are diminishing and you don't need much of a breeze when temperatures are so low. 6:00 in the morning feels like 5 degrees in philadelphia and the good news is when temperatures don't climb out of the 20s in the afternoon the winds diminish and by tomorrow afternoon instead of windchills in the single digits close to the air temperature. we have a messy winter storm on the way. the snow begins after midnight. friday night and 6:00 in the morning, you can see south jersey and delaware

cats and dogs have fur they can stay outdoors indefinitely. if you are cold so is your animal. in weather like this it's time to bring them in. nora muchanic, channel 6 "action news." slick roads may have played a role in a crash that seriously injured a driver in the feltonville section overnight. authorities say that the driver lost control and hit a tree and then the car caught on fire and the driver was rushed to einstein medical center for treatment. this is christopher hess of buck county held on more than $100,000 bail after allegedly ramming two police cars during a traffic stop in bensalem yesterday. he was wanted for armed robbery and drug charges and ditched the car and took off on foot. officers from bristol township chased him and arrested him. now the latest on president-elect donald trump's transition to the white house. a busy day for his team.
