night. we had a topsy-turvy kind of day with temperatures rising as night fell. tomorrow morning we could hit 6. i'm walter perez. when the day started it felt like winter and by the evening it felt like fall. there is thick fog to be aware of if you are driving to be the. tonight. >> let's move to meteorologist melissa magee. >> walter, there is a lot of low level moisture as the snow departs. that's why the fog advisory has been posted staying up until 7:00 a.m. sunday. visibility could be reduce today a quarter of a mile or less across the area. right now the fog report showing half a mile in wilmington, three miles allentown, two and a half in redding and this is an issue

turnersville, icy roads slowed traffic. in camden they were icing the sidewalks. >> this is the scene from the poconos, monroe county using snow blowers and plows to clear the way. they saw a few inches of snow up there. allentown seeing snow as well, downtown along seventh street early this morning snow was falling steadily, sticking with icy road ca conditions across te lehigh valley. hazardous advisories are in effect in several states. maryland a massive pile up on i-95. in the midwest, folks are shoveling out of a significant snow fall now bracing for a deep please. minnesota is expected to reach 40-degrees below zero. this morning holiday shoppers

hit the home stretch with christmas next weekend. there was no shortage of people out and about scratching off the shopping list. >> should have done the shopping a while ago. >> that's the sentiment many shared as they headed into the frenzy that was super saturday, the day many last-minute shoppers hit the stores in droves. >> peyton and julie bradley dodged mother nature's cold blast at king of prussia mall's new corridor linking the two shopping center. no need to go outside now. >> you can just walkthrough. >> nobody has to walk outside to go from one location to another. it's very successful. >> shopping bags in hand, this father needed more than a reprieve from the cold to make it through today. >> it can be overwhelming. how is it going?

trump called it an unprecedented act. >> today rebel and government forces agreed to allow certain people to leave two government held villages in syria. the evacuation began today. it's only humanitarian cases including wounded are allowed to leave. dozens of busses have been sent to villages to begin the process. it's not clear if the limits set by the insurgents in the villages, will undermine action in aleppo. dozens gathered to pray for a young boy with cancer. they gathered to show support for nico. he was diagnosed with cancer at the age of three. nico was there tonight for the service. people held glow sticks and a show of support for the fight against childhood cancers. >> we are following developing news out of california where at least one person was killed after a large tree fell on a wedding party. the action left five others injured. a short time ago city officials held a news conference promising to analyze why the tree fell but l.a. was in a drought and received heavy rain over the past few days. a warning over another water crisis this time in corpus christy. an official knew that the water was contaminated a week before warning the public about the

water. 300,000 people were asked to stop using and drinking tap water wednesday. four people have skin and issues linked to the contamination. local businesses have since filed a class action lawsuit. a grieving mother and father are reaching out for answers for their son's killer. that comes with $20,000 in reward for information. here's rick williams with the report. >> daryl singleton was going to school to be an emt, something his mother says he took seriously. >> he did very well. >> that's why she felt it was odd when he said he wasn't going to class tuesday night septembe. >> he said his teacher wasn't going to be there. >> daryl was at his house in philadelphia comp creek section.

at 7:36 police were called to the area for a person with a gun. when they arrived, they found daryl suffering from gunshot wounds to the head and torso. he died at the hospital. >> i feel like he was set up. daryl's father believes his previous run in, in june may have contributed to his murder. some guys robbed him. that's where i think everything began. >> the citizen crime commission is administering a $1,000 reward and the city of philadelphia is offering $20,000 for the arrest and conviction of the person responsible. all you have to do is call 215 215-546-tips. all calls are anonymous. >> i hope it leads to someone speaking up. if they can do it to him, they can do it to anybody.
